Blitzortung Lightning Tracker for Android
Refuses to show my location. Fails to link strikes to tracking stations.
Nice, but does not display my location or distance rings. This is supposed to be a feature.
Fantastic and accurate. Addiction when the weather turns stormy
Brilliant app shows me where all the lightning strike are
It's a great app all it needs now is the thunder rings showing when the thunder will hit
Does not show my location..
Be 5 stars if it had push notifications
Range circles and location don't seem to work.
Superb app
Growing up in the lightning belt I would ride to the beach to watch the thunderstorms. I'm in the mountains now and photograph lightning. Great tool, very accurate.
I don't get it for all that!!!
On my Marshmallow LG G4 I had zero issues with this app. It worked great every time. Since installing on my new Nougat S7 the location marker and range rings do not show. I tried setting the resolution of the device down to see if that was the issue, but nothing I do will make them show. Other than that, it still works well.
Looks fine, smooth and easy to use. However, it did not show my location on the map, nor did it show the distance circles. Still needs work. Also adding an alert for strikes within 10 miles would be nice. Question: Do the expanding circles around strikes represent speed of sound for thunder? Galaxy S7, Android 6.0.1, AT&T
Like the version on the website, this app does a great job of displaying lightning strikes and precipitation radar. Triangulation accuracy used to be quite poor for the UK, but it has gotten better in the past couple of years. I've tried several lightning tracker apps, and this seems to be one of the better ones.
Downloaded on to a Samsung Tablet 10.1 Note. All seemed okay at first, but then after exiting the app for a few minutes and then going back in, I noticed the blue squares of the detectors were missing. After a while they came back and then went again. This seems to be happening all the time. Also, only once have I ever seen the distance circles around my location, despite having the option for them ticked. A shame it has these bugs, as it seems more accurate than some other storm warning apps.
To move the center of the bullseye Circle put your finger, *ON* the red circle itself (NOT the center of the circle) and drag the circle so that it is centered where you live. This is an utterly fantastic application. If you want to know about lightning strikes near you - get this app.
Good app but has issues. Occasionally quits to desktop and only 5 minute lifespan for displaying lightning works. Choose 30 minutes or 20 minutes and the strikes still disappear after 5 minutes.
It was okay, a good reliable app. However I've had it just over a month and all of a sudden it doesn't show the precipitation, which is slightly disappointing for me and makes me question the reliability and validity of this entire app. Easy enough to use and would be perfect if the issues were resolved.
The show my location bit is broken, so I have to zoom by hand.

Doesn't dectect my actual location even though there are options for distance circles. Unimpressed and uninstalled
For some reason, it crashed and wouldn't let me back in. After I updated it, it wouldn't let me in at all
Many youth sports cancel at a distance of 10 miles. Can you make a diameter ring of ten miles? That would make it awesomer.
Great app
Following update no longer 'eats data' in the background - left the app running for several days... 500kb background, zero foreground use. I like the visualisation and it's the best of several similar apps I have tried.

This is kind of slow. And it doesn't have a good layout. Hope to see it improve. But, it is good overall. Hope to see more!
I like it, the layout is good, but I think there's a fault with the weather radar over the UK as it hasn't changed for days now. Everywhere else seems to be working fine though.
Polls the GPS even though I've disabled the features which concern My Position. Wastes battery.
I work at night in central Oklahoma and can see lightening from many miles away ... this app helps me tell how close the lightening is so I can keep my crew safe
This update is so much better. The previous one would hardly ever open. And it just stay on the title screen. Thank you.
Love the app. Wish it had alerts for lightening in the area. I also wish it had a better range circle so it's easier to tell the distance the strike is from your location.
I don't get it for all that!!!
Works great on my phone. This is a very helpful app.
Great real time lightning information. Please include an alert function to advise about nearby lightning.
Its only fair at best... 7-7-16
Does what it says
Wow
Excellent layout

Can't get past splash screen on Samsung S7 active. Cool app on other Androids that work
