I love that the verses are short,to the point, and applicable to daily life. When life is busy it is a simple way to feel the Spirit and engage with the scriptures. And now it opens the scriptures in the Gospel Library app, making study even easier!

All fixed. Much better. Love this widget.

Every day it opens my heart. :)

This is a wonderful widget.

by K####:

Nice, does what it says on the tin. I wish there were options to make it prettier, and to make the scripture open in the Gospel Library app instead of my default browser. Oh, and it's weird that the scripture opens up at the top of the page when there's a code you can add to every URL that lets you open it directly above the highlighted verse. But that stuff isn't a big deal.

K70%
by K####:

I love that it gives scriptures from all the standard works. I just wish it was customizable, like be able to change the background color and size or font type and size.

This app is amazing. I was having a bad day, but when I read my scripture of the day, I could practically feel my anger melt away. D&C 19:23 is the scripture that saved my day.

U70%
by U####:

This is a great way to read your scriptures. If you struggle like me to get them in each day, this is the perfect app. Endnotes reading just one a day can bless us!

U70%
by U####:

Latter Day Saints also known as Mormons (we're awesome). Please people who say it says nothing about it being Mormon scriptures, just stop embarrassing yourselves.

U70%
by U####:

Sometimes you don't have a lot of time to read and need a quick pick me up in the morning. This app is great! I love that it will take you to the chapter in the scriptures as well.

Has a cashe so you dont need your wifi or 3g on all week! My only problem is that it cuts off the bottom of the quote too shprt sometimes

Truly remarkable and perfect. Everyday it gives me just what I need and situational irony that only the almighty could come up with. Excellent widget. A must have on every smartphone.

I recently changed phones and this app didn't migrate automatically. I've come to rely on it for that daily dose of encouragement that I need. Adding it to my new phone!

G70%
by G####:

Sometimes it's just hard to remember to study. I look at my phone at least 100 times a day. Having this widget is the perfect reminder I need to study the more important things. Thanks!

There's no question that this is an important app for those that use their phones for everything in life. Follow the commandments and read scripture daily. This is an excellent way to make it happen.

I love this app but wish I could see the scriptures from previous days. I like to save them but don't always have a chance and it would be nice to go back and do that. I know the read more has a link to access that list, but it does not work. That's all it needs for me to rate 5 stars.

U70%
by U####:

It's not an app it's a widget. So hold down on your home screen to bring up the menu and select widgets. It will be there. Love it! So nice to have a scripture to read right on my home screen.

U70%
by U####:

Awesome! I can't tell you how many times I've had spiritual scriptures shown to me through this app. These scriptures give me the messages I need.

G70%
by G####:

I never have problems with it. I love that it is unobtrusive. The only thing that could improve it for me would be the ability to link it with gospel library app, and even that isn't a big deal. Works wonderfully.

If you don't bother to read the description and give this app 1 star because it has LDS scriptures you are an idiot. You wouldn't dare criticize it if it had verses from the Muslim scriptures and yet Mormons are Christians if you people would bother to find out what we actually believe instead of just mindlessly parroting what your minister told you!

Great app. Gives a good spiritual. And Latter-day Saints (Mormons) are followers of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Always has scriptures to help me get through my day! As a high school student, this is a perfect app to always have near.

Each morning when my alarm wakes me, I've got a new scripture there to start my day too. I love it!

U70%

I call this my text from God, because I feel like this snippet of scripture has been just that many times. I love having a scripture to read daily, and love using the scripture as a launching point for further study. Best app ever. Thanks!!!!!

I don't know what a widget is. Or how to make this work. What do i do? How do i start it?

U70%
by U####:

So at first i thought this wasnt installing because it wasnt showing up with my apps. Its a WIDGET, so if you want to see it, go to your home screen, hold down, and options will show, press "widgets", flip through them, its the 2x2 "Scriprure a day" with a little temple :) I LOVE waking up to these scriptures every day! They remind me to read and keep the spirit with me~~

A great scripture right there on my home page each day. Clicking on it brings up the scripture in context via the browser. Now all it needs is a way to share the scripture / text to a friend (but I don't know if I would do that very often). This app helps start your day on the right foot. (Nexus 4)

I have had this app for over a year and I have loved having a verse on my home screen all day every day. I found out something funny though. I shared a few to Facebook a year ago and it's the exact same verses on the same calender day. Not a bad thing, but I'd like to see more variety and not the same verses on the same days...makes it more meaningful, I suppose.

One of my favorite apps. I have it right on my home screen as a great reminder throughout the day. I love that it links right to the Scriptures and shares from Bible, Book of Mormon, and D&C. Thankfully , I haven't had any issues with it glitching, etc. Awesome job and thanks

I guess I'm pretty dumb. I installed this but I can't seem to find it. I don't even see it in my apps. You guys say it is installed but....what is a widget? I assumed it would be on my desktop so I could see it anytime. Can you help. I have a Samsung GALAXY 5

This is a great widget; I've been using it for almost a year, but I really wish it wasn't only 2x2. I have a picture of my local temple as my background, and I just changed the arrangement of my apps so that this widget is the only thing on my home page. It's helpful so I don't get distracted with the other apps that used to crowd my home page, but it covers up so much of the temple that it doesn't look good. If it were 3 or 2x1, and/or if the background had an adjustable opacity, it would be perfect! :)

It would be nice to have an archive of the daily scriptures since I don't always remember to write them down (or screenshot it)

About a week ago, it started to give me an error message, it tells me I cannot get a secure connection when I tap on the scripture. It won't open or text or anything :/ any suggestions?

I'm so thankful for this application on my life, it always seems the scripture is applicable for each and every day. Thank you for being so prayerful as you select each one! It's in the center of my homepage to always remind me to keep His words in my heart throughout the day!

Z70%
by Z####:

I love that it gives scriptures from all the standard works. I just wish it was customizable, like be able to change the background color and size or font type and size.

First of all, I feel that this is a great widget for those that would like to see the scriptures posted. If you couldn't find or open it, it's most likely because it is a widget, not an app. Look up how to install a widget. Second, to those that reviewed something about it being a Mormon thing and not for them, that's okay. Not all apps are what everyone is looking for. Lastly, regardless if you're Mormon or not, if you're calling another reviewer an idiot, use common sense: STOP IT. It helps nobody.

C70%

I'd really like to know how the scripture is chosen... random, algorithms or inspiration? I also wondering if I'm getting the same scripture as everyone else sometimes b/c they seem to answer my prayers or provide confirmation all too often!
