Bill Splitter - Tip Calculator

The concept of this app is phenomenal and with manual entry it works perfectly but the ocr needs some work. Issues I've noted are: -photos must be taken in landscape orientation. Not the best orientation for bills. -if there is Euro symbols by the item price on the check (eg €4 instead of 4) the ocr fails -it would be nice to be able to have multiples of items when entering manually. Currently you type for each individual item, even if there are 8 the same. -similarly it would be nice to be able to split scanned items. If a check says 4 x mojito but Bill had one and Tom had three it would be good to be able to split it into 4 others, give one to Bill and the rest to Tom. Over all a great concept and I hope to see the above issues improved. It will make this an essential dinning app. Having worked in a restaurant the splitting on this is even easier than on most POS terminals

The OCR crashes every time you try to use it, and the item splitting doesn't work. Basically the entire point of the app.

Poor and not working

Hi when I take a photo and hit the √ the screen just goes grey. I can draw on it but can not see the text. What am I doing wrong

How do you delete names? Puzzling lack of options menu.

Very useful

Best f-ing app ever!

No frills. I've used it twice - it saves all the names. You can add people to one dish where a few of us shared an item - clever! You can even go back and change détails. 3 things would make it perfect.1: Larger text- On the page where we assign diners to dishes, food items are squished to half the height of names. 2: If only we could just swipe forward or back. 3: On the last screen please let us set the tip Separately for each person. I downloaded 6 apps - this is the best one by far.

Allover Ok, but misses a few features. Travelers don't always know the tax percentage, so it would be nice if you could choose to put an amount instead, and have the app calculate the percentage. There are still bugs when going into, landscape mode. Should be able to split units unevenly between people without putting in more lines (f.ex if there is 10 beers with a total of $50 in one line)

Works good. Very easy to use. Please revise bill total in the situation when you go back to change products. It has an error. It keeps multiplying the total of the bill every time you go back. Total is good in the other screens. Nexus 4
