Die SmokeFree Buddy App bietet Personen, die mit dem Rauchen aufhören möchten, auf innovative Art interaktive Unterstützung. Die App wurde von Spezialisten für Rauchentwöhnung auf wissen-schaftlicher Basis entwickelt.

Die SmokeFree Buddy App ermöglicht den Rauchstopp mit Unterstützung einer selbst gewählten Per-son. Diese Person wird in der Rolle als Buddy von der App angeleitet, wie sie die aufhörwillige Person bei der Rauchstopp-Challenge bestmöglich motivieren kann. Es besteht auch die Möglichkeit, dass zwei Rauchende gemeinsam mithilfe der SmokeFree Buddy App aufhören: dann sind beide Personen auch in der Rolle als unterstützender Buddy.
Die Dauer der Rauchstopp-Challenge kann festgelegt werden (10, 20 oder 30 Tage). Die Person, die mit dem Rauchen aufhören möchte, kann das Datum des Rauchstopps innerhalb der nächsten 7 Tage selber wählen.
Die App ist einfach zu bedienen. Ein Dashboard führt die Beteiligten Schritt für Schritt durch den Un-terstützungsprozess. Die verschiedenen Optionen (Chat, Meldungen, Bonus, Statistik, Wissensdaten-bank zum Thema Rauchstopp usw.) ermöglichen, erfolgreich Fortschritte zu erzielen.
Der Buddy erhält Tipps, wie sie/er die aufhörwillige Person am besten unterstützen und zum Durch-halten motivieren kann. Gleichzeitig kann die Person, die mit dem Rauchen aufgehört hat, jederzeit mit einem Smiley zum Ausdruck bringen, wie sie sich fühlt und den Buddy um Hilfe bitten.
Die Inhalte und Unterstützungsvorschläge in dieser App basieren auf wissenschaftlichen Grundlagen. Die App ist ein Teilprojekt der nationalen SmokeFree-Kampagne.

The Smoke Free Buddy app allows the smoke stop thanks to a self-imposed per-son. This person is instructed in the role of Buddy from the App as it can motivate the person to stop smoking when smoking cessation Challenge possible. There is also the possibility that two smoking stop together using the Smoke Free Buddy app: then both parties are included in the role as a supportive buddy.
The duration of the smoking cessation Challenge can be determined (10, 20, or 30 days). The person who wants to quit smoking can select the date of quitting within the next 7 days itself.
The app is easy to use. A dashboard guides the participants step by step through the Un-terstützungsprozess. allow the various options (chat, messages, bonus, statistics, knowledge-bank on smoking cessation, etc.) to make progress successfully.

Die Idee der App ist ja gut, aber ob sie das Geld wert ist, welches wir mit unseren Steuern zahlen? Möge sie denen helfen, die aufhören "wollen". Liebes BAG, sehr geehrte Frau Pitteloud: Lassen Sie doch die Leute sein, die gerne Rauchen. Und bekämpfen/überregulieren Sie das Dampfen nicht! Die Legalisierung des Verkaufs von nikotinhaltigen Liquids würde viele Raucher, die es mit Ihrer App nämlich auch nicht schaffen werden, zum Dampfen bringen. In meinen Augen ist dies die beste Alternative zum Rauchen (und
