VirtualDJ Remote for Android
Absolutey Luv it well worth the money, just wish it would registet automatically with my PC instead of having to i put ip anf port everytime!
Needs refinement. Development for this app is SLOW. Buttons on interface are rendered incorrectly on my phone. Instead of a single button, the buttons are a bunch of little blocks. Controls work as they should. However VirtualDJ seems to forget my remote device and I have to add it back. Needs more skins, and skins should stretch to fill the screen... and why when I go to virtualdj site to download skins do they all say for iPhone/iPad.?? Come on let's have a little better support for the planet's dominate mobile OS (Android). All DJs aren't Apple fanboys afterall.
I purchased this product but it never worked on my Samsung s7 edge it is installed on the phone but never works. it keep saying waiting for connection without any active button . I want my money back but no one to contact. IT IS A RIP OFF think twice before you buy!!!!!! I HATE COMPANY THAT TAKE PEOPLE'S MONEY FOR FREE
It's good but needs work. I'm using it on the Samsung galaxy note 8 .One thing you guys should do is make it possible for us to view the AUTOMIX list. I use this app as a remote in the beginning of the night while I'm speaking to customers socializing. Loading tunes on the fly to the AUTOMIX list. Being able to see what I have added or how many more tracks till the end of the list would be very helpful . Thanks!
Downloaded it as once I synced with my tablet I thought I could use it on the go. Don't see the point of this app if I can't open it on the go and plug in my ddj controller, I may as well just take my laptop it's not exactly heavy!! Have to give the 2 star because controlling it on the tablet was very clean but in my eyes a waste of money at £7:99!!
The app kept freezing and constantly lost its connection to the desktop program. Ultimately became useless. Unfortunately for me, I installed it a few days before my party and cannot request a refund. Not worth it, save your money.
I paid 9.99 for this app & it doesn't connect to my virtualdj on my cpt it keeps saying error every time i enter the ip address? How can i get my $$ back?
I purchased this app and I'm not able to use on my Apple tab unless I pay again
Atomix Virtual DJ. No need more explanation. Only missing independent playing, without connection to pc. I know, this is only a remote, but there is really missing a real good VirtualDJ app.
I read the reviews and was afraid to buy it but it work really good
Would be nice in Galaxy Note 8 if yo can use it on landcape mode, with two decks
2 thumbs up. Works great but would be nice to also use it in off line mode like your original VirtualDJ software. Keep up the great work.
The one thing that would make this perfect is if you could preview the songs on deck through the app.
Dude, I very rarly will give five stars. But, I am a novice DJ and I love techno music. I was going to go out and buy a expensive controler, and I still am when I can afford it and I become more skilled, but it is hard to control or really get into it with just a mouse. And, I really didn't think this would work at all, BUT THIS IS THE TICKET. I works flawlessly and I feel like I am actually playing an instrument or something. I can focus on the mix and not the mouse pointer. I totally recommend this app. Also, one major advantage this app has over a pro controler is that you can't dance around the room like you can with a tablet or smartphone.
My biggest gripe with this app is that why do I have to enter an IP address on my laptop every time I back out of this app its a real pain in the but to have to do anytime I back out or just answer a call. Very inconvenient.
I have a Samsung s7 &Windows 10 and the last Virtual DJ8. Anything before DJ 8 won't work. Tech on line support is good. A little tricky but fairly easy and easy to beat mix with it. Pretty cool app.
This app works great! It runs off my Mobile hot spot but needs more bandwidth to run smoothly. I'm going to have to install a dedicated router in to rig for future use. Thanks!
It was working fine for a long time but lately it's just no good won't connect & nothing has changed something happened (obviously)but I can't figure it out
Difficult to set up and use if you use a Samsung. Need to create an ad-hoc. This is how I do it on Windows. 1. Start > Right click on My Computer > Manage > Services and Application > Services > turn on Internet Connection Sharing (Will be set to manual, change it to automatic) 2. Right click on the network icon on the taskbar > open network and sharing center > Change Adapter settings > Find the current internet running adapter > properties > sharing > allow sharing 3. Open CMD as an administrator 4. Type in the following netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=testwifi key="12345678" netsh wlan start hostednetwork netsh wlan show hostednetwork And finally, since the Network has to be started again if you have restarted your PC or have woken it up from hibernation, a little tip: - create a folder, name it, say, "Wifi" or "SoftAP" or whatever you like. - Create two text documents in there, start.txt and stop.txt. - type netsh wlan start hostednetwork into start.txt and save - type netsh wlan stop hostednetwork into stop.txt and save - change both file's extension to .bat Double click Start.bat to run new network Disable Firewall if necessary. Must use VDJ 8.1 or up
Not working with Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 at all. It stuck at the loading screen with this message, "Waiting for connection from Virtual DJ"
Can't get it to connect at all. Won't let me connect when I manually enter the port to use. Absolute pile of garbage. I see the developers on here don't even have the decency to reply to people with problems either!!
REALLY needs an option to place a song as next in your automix playlist!! And possibly automix crossover settings. However, this is STILL a great app to use, and I was very pleased with it!!
This app is a complete scam for those who are not familiar with this Virtual app you need a license to run. I just wasted $10 for nothing it does not work I am very upset that they would do this to people that are no familiar with the process.
This is a great, inexpensive solution to having no decks. It's not as good as a set of decks but it makes hosting parties professionally a lot easier!
Despite my argent attempts to connect with my VDJ8 programming, I still can't use this app at all. I want my $12.50 back, Google
It only works through the original download as a remote, what a waste of a good app, could have made it stand alone & a remote as well, I would have gladly bought it, all the other dj apps suck, this one is a lost opportunity, who needs a remote, give me the real thing, a stand alone virtual DJ app, " yes I'd buy it"
Buuuuuhh
This app really sucks won't let me connect it won't even start up worst app I tride
only loads old skin false advertising
This app is a magic wand if you are a Pro Infinity and Content subscriber at a gig. I am more than happy...I am grateful. Thanks.
Does not work on Galaxy Tab 4
Can't do anything from tab4
Thanks for this app
Help
Needs sorting out on the music selecting
Awesome love it.
Runs pretty well
3 days I've been trying to get it working with my note 5. Tried 4 different WiFi connections , reinstalled bonjour. Still no luck. Of course its too late to get a refund. Waste of 10 bucks.
I really needed this because my audience was in another room. So this allowed me to stay in the room with them and operate the decks remotely. Super! 10 usd investment allowed my bar to make an extra 1000 usd of sales for that day.

Virtual DJ 8 is good program, and can crossfade videos, but uses a lot of RAM, but as with many others online, even with lots of RAM, it also has many problems stutters and freezes on high HD videos. Really do not like their huge distracting ugly logo forced on all my videos playing, unless you pay for full commercial license. I purchased this overpriced Virtual DJ 8 android remote app, but has apparently not been updated since 2015, and does not work well, still cannot get android app on my Samsung 5 phone to connect at all on any Windows pcs running virtual DJ 8. So it is obviously not being supported that well any more, but still charge an overpriced 10.00 fee for an app that is not working correctly, or being updated? Since VDJ shortcuts or way to quickly switch to external video display on projector from mini keyboard without mouse, does not really work very well, plus when you switch to projector display, suprisingly, you cannot even view any details of current videos playing like time and length left of video, nor can you seek or jump to end of video on display, without having to jump back and forth to console screen just to do these very basic video player features.
