So, I've used this app for BOC guide 2 years ago. I remember that I could change settings on flash cards for many features. Now, all features are just greyed out and can't change anything.... What's the point if I can't change the number of questions or answer/feedback features?

I can sign in but then i get an error message saying BOC will restart but nothing happens

App did not work from the moment I installed it, and serves no purpose. There are only 2 functions: #1 study guide you must pay to use, and #2 member directory that is non-functioning. Clicking on the guide generates an error saying app must re-start, and it's an endless loop. I uninstalled the app 60 seconds after installing it. ASCP- show some respect for your members' time, and delete this app from the store.

Having Major log on issues. Everything I try it will not let me log on to use the app. Since I can not use the app i can only give it one start, but if i can get it to work the stars will go up.....Since everyone is seeming to have log on issues how were you guys able to get passed this?

Just installed the app and when I log in, all I get is "logout" in the upper left hand corner with a blank screen. I really would love to use this app if it would work:(

I was able to log in but then it tells me that the Boc is restarting. Not matter how many times I tried, it did the same thing. Finally had to uninstall from my phone.

Wouldn't load

This app is $100 bucks not free, if your screen locks or you tilt the screen you lose everything. If you're mid quiz everything starts over. The feedback is useless 50% of the time. This is definitely not a good "study" guide, it's only good for getting exposure to what the questions might be. It's not free but for what you get it should be. And you can only use it with an Internet or cell signal.

Operation: slow, quiz/ test setup is difficult because the buttons for ON/OFF barely work. They get stuck and one must keep tapping to get the setting they desire. After answering a question, it is always good to have feedback (so good job) ....HOWEVER, Feedback barely answers anything and doesn't cover why an answer is correct. My FAVE is "Chromatography is based on the principle of: A. Differential Solubility B. Gravity C.Vapor Pressure D. Temperature. FEEDBACK: Basis of Chromatography. " LOL

Now that I got the app to work its well worth the money. I just hope the questions they are asking are similar to ones on the exams. I wish they would set it up like the real test where it gives you different levels and stuff based on how you are doing. Other than that its finally working well.

What's the point of advertising the book and the app if it works when it wants to? For the amount that is charged for the book and a barely working app is disappointing. Just study the good old way by using the book. I have installed and reinstalled this app multiple times, error messages, app restarting, and staring at a grey circle that spins round and round. Not really worth the hassle. Great concept, bad execution. Too bad there is not a refund button.

Can't get it to give me answers. Flash card app does not work like flash cards...works like multiple choice quiz. What good is a flash card that doesnt give the answer on the "back"? Slider buttons in settings don't work half the time.

The app keeps shutting down anytime I try to take a quiz or just continues to load forever! Please fix this issue!!!

After answering a question, it doesn't directly tell you if you answered correct or incorrect. The answer descriptions are often vague. For example on questions with number/ratio/detail based answer options, the description would be "Products of glycolysis" or "Definition of glycated hemoglobin". I got this to use on the go, so I don't have to bring my textbooks everywhere with me. Having to look up these indirect answer descriptions defeats the purpose. The ones with descriptive answer feedback are helpful

Tried opening. All I'm getting is blank white screen and an error message. Unable to open mobile ascp site. Paid to much

the description says the study guide is new, actually you'll have to purchase it online and it will then sync to your profile. This app is just a members directory look up.

App is offline and not working. What happened? App error box pops up.

I paid $109 for this app to help me study for the molecular biology certification. It gives me the same 12 questions even though I have the # of questions slider on 100 questions. Complete waste of money! I am very upset.

I downloades this app because I purchased the BOC book with the app in hopes of studying for my boards. The app is extremely laggy, the answers to the questions are not logged in properly, takes for ever to start over, doesnt save quizzes if you close the screen just a frustrating experience over all.

What is the correct answer for this question. Cessation of urine flow is define as: a) dysuria, b) anuria,. According the ASCP answer apps it said dysuria, but when I searched more information about this question the answer should be anuria, I was marked as incorrect. I no longer have confident in this app. ASCP really needs to revisit this apps and make sure students are stuying the correct information. please let me know if I am wrong. Thanks

Had a problem with the app, but after emailing them they took the time to respond that the issue was fixed. Indeed it was. The app is loaded with practice questions and lots of feedback. Very glad to have it as a resource.

Please help! I paid for the study guide and now I cannot access it. I used it about a month ago and every was fine. I uninstalled and reinstalled and nothing. It does not show Bor Study Guide where I can access the practice exams.

Good idea to allow people to study on the bus or on the go but doesn't work smoothly as it should, especially for an organization like ASCP. The flashcards don't work at all. Some answers are vague and don't make sense. Hopefully they work on refining this before more people pay only to get disappointed.

Major issues with the app. It's very slow when it works and crashes constantly. I can't do more than a 10 question quiz because I don't want to get half way through and have it crash on me. If it were faster and more stable, it would be an amazing study aid.

As an MLS with tech savvy, I can only say really? I mean, seriously? This is pathetic. Was your Android app developer on FMLA? For $100+ this app shouldn't be plagued with nuisances or be a menace to use on this platform. The app crashes with every change of device orientation, or screen black out. Everything -EVERYTHING- has to be pressed twice to be selected. Quite a few of the question feedback comments are just the original question, but reworded. Clearly, not on par with ASCP. C'mon!

I bought the book app bundle from the ASCP website and have had no login trouble. You need the username, ASCP provides you with, in the purchase confirmation email. The quiz, practice exam, and flashcard settings are versatile and the app is user friendly. The question bank is expansive and this app allows me to study for the ASCP exam whenever I want. I would recommend this app for any CLS intern prepping for the BOC test.

It let me log in once, now I can't log back in. it says my username/password is incorrect but its typed in right, i triple checked

I have logged on twoce now, but I had to change my username and password to log in the second time. The third time I tried it told me again that my user name an password were incorrect. It is ridiculous to expect your customers to change thier username and password everytime they want to use your product. when I was able to log in it seemed like a very good app. Please, fix the username issues.
