About Arlo the Whale
Arlo the Blue, Blue Whale is a "tail" of acceptance and friendship. As Arlo the young whale navigates between sea and air, he quickly learns that the differences between him and other creatures of the earth should be celebrated, not feared. This story was inspired by Andy Warhol's famous quote, “I think everybody should like everybody.” Warhol's sentiments are manifested in the unlikely friendships that Arlo forms between the fish and the seagulls.

This book comes to the surface after a fun collaboration between three sisters and their mother, Janet Alberti. Janet originally wrote the book for her first grandson, Arlo John. Jenny, the middlest sister, beautifully illustrated the pages. The other two sisters, with the help of two cool guys from Appoet, helped bring the book to life so they could share this important message with many more children. We hope you enjoy!
