AppKicker provides quickstart icons for the apps you most likely launch next. The list is automagically updated while you use your apps or games.
You can configure different modes how apps will be selected. In *mashup mode (recommended)* we try to learn what is the best option for you. The *recently used apps* mode is a convenient way to come back to the apps you have used recently. With *most used apps* you will have those apps at your fingertips that you use most. *Sequentially used apps* will present you apps that you usually use after each other, e.g. for checking all your social networks in a row. Mode *locally used apps* will show you apps that you mostly use at current location. And mode *predicting apps* tries to anticipate which app you are going to use next.
This app is a widget and will not appear in your app drawer. Add the widget to your home screen by long tapping and choose it from the list of widgets. Certainly best placed on your homescreen.
The widget is triggered when you use an app and it always shows you up to five apps to launch them next. When you have a gaming session, you can easily come back to your recent games, when you are in the office you can easily come back to your recent productivity tools. You can simply tap on the apps' icons presented by the widget. No need to maintain different desktop pages for that any more. You will have more space on your home screen for other widgets. Our app is an always up-to-date quickstart launcher.

Only installed it a few hours ago and I can see the apps changing. I only seem to get 4 apps in the widget to predict the apps using the other options is correctly listing 5

Useful app, but it shows my launcher as part of the recent/predicted apps. A way to exclude the home launcher from being detected would make this app perfect. *I can see from the change log that a fix was made to exclude launchers but I can still see it on the list. I use action launcher 2: pro.*

I made a widget with every mode, I used my phone for days like it told me to thinking it would start figuring out what to predict, or what my most recent apps were, but it remained blank the entire time.

Access settings and exclude apps! It's a very good idea, but it needs two minor adjustments: 1) There NEEDS to be the option to exclude apps from being calculated in the statistics. I didn't like my phone's default launcher, which is why I downloaded a custom launcher. Problem is, the launcher appears as a suggestion in the widget 2) There NEEDS to be a way to access the widget settings other than removing it and re-setting it On the plus side, I'm loving the transparent option!

But like the others, im experiencing lost of saved configuration...it keeps going back to its default "predictive and grey" options. I also would like to have a blacklist and reset option by holding down an app icon.

Use it to make a smart home screen. Only problem is on a reboot it takes about 45-60 seconds before the app will load my icons. If you fix you got 5 stars

Innovative idea. Was trying to find an app that allowed me to analyze which apps I used the most so I could save space on the home screen and this is the closest I've found. Two things that could make it better though: 1) allow to ignore repetitive and irrelevant apps (e.g. GO launcher and Settings) and 2) allow to reopen settings after placing widget on home screen. Aside from that, it does what it does, with creative filtering settings.

I have been killing Zombies since WAY before the original Resident Evil was released, so, I really know what I am talking about!............ This game is cool, but, it would be cooler if there was 2 headed zombies, zombies on motorcycles and zombie mermaids..... It would also be better if the apps displayed on the widget in scientific mode were correct more often.....regardless of these flaws I am going to give it a good rating because the name Maboe reminds me of the name Moby and that reminds me of a zombified whale I met once.

This is s really good app, but the background refuses to STAY TRANSPARENT. I e-mailed the developer, but the email was rejected as "address does not exist"... THREE TIMES. Would very much appreciate a fix...THEN, more stars.

4/5 until this widget let's you exclude certain apps from being counted toward the usage calculations. I have an app which allows me to use Google voice search instead of Samsung voice when double pressing the home button. Because it acts as some form of launcher it triggers frequently. It's always first in my appkicker lists.. Update: thought latest update would allow the ability to exclude launchers but it doesn't :( Still 4/5.
