[How does it work?]
The principle of this app is based on the air flow produced when breathing out. Users should keep the microphone closed to nose and then when breathing out, the air flow will reach to mic and make big sound. When breathing in, since there is no air flow out, the mic will receive little sound.
[How to use it?]
In order to reach to the accurate result, users should follow these steps. Step 1: before starting the app, find a silent place. Step 2: Keep the phone close to your nose, make sure the air flow can reach to the mic. Step 3: press start button, and begin to test. Since the respiratory rate may vary according to the different states such as running, sleeping, the standard we choose is the calm state. So be sure to keep calm before testing.

So I push the button. Sniff the mic. After a minute, nothing? I see the graph. The screen has closed. I reopen there's the graph, is it running in the background? I don't know, I tried it for a minute or two, no notification to know I can stop sniffing the mic. SO HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE? Would like to be able to give it more stars once I can test it????

It's really weird to have to put the phone's microphone up under my nose then while the phone is there to press the Start button. There is no countdown to know when it's done so the first time I did it I had no idea how long I'd have to wait but I did notice that something changed on the screen (since I can't really see the screen that well since it's at a bad angle and it's very close to my eyes... So I pulled it away and looked at it and I was wondering why there was no result listed. But I did see a Result button so I touched it and it gave my recent result. I then had to enter my name (can't it just auto-detect my name or at least not need a name since generally one person will only use this app??) and I then had the option to save or discard the reading. If I had designed this app I think I would have included better instructions on the Google Play Store page, and had pop up instructions when the app is opened and an option to disable that screen for the future. Then I would have notification that the test ended. And the result should automatically pop up when the test is done and it should autosave the result. If you need to delete a result, go into history and delete it.

This app made me decide to go to the ER cause I have been breathing funny today cause I have an ear infection and strep throat and its a good think that I did go to the ER cause they found out that im having a problem with my lungs and my heart. So this app May have saved my life "literally"...
