Game Timer for Android
Players seated around a table, tap on the one whose turn it is. Simple.
Almost gave up on this app, since like lots of other users I don't have a menu button on my phone. However, ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS LONG PRESS THE 'APP SWITCH' BUTTON (the one with the two rectangles) and then tonnes of great timing options become available!
This does NOT work on a Samsung Galaxy/Note 7 (u need a "menu" button and simply holding the 'switch apps' (long press) button you don't get a menu appearing for this app. You MUST HAVE a MENU button on your phone for this app to work properly!
Last updated in 2013. Requires you to have menu button to function.
No menu can't use
Bad I dont now gow to
No menu button so cant use.
Was excited to try this app, but when the app starts it says to use a menu that doesn't exist on my phone
This app is exactly what I was looking for. The only drawback is that it won't play any sounds. It would be perfect if it played sounds but it just stays quiet. So close!
Best game timer I could find
Didnt even load right
Looks great, but the note 4 doesn't have a menu button for starting this app
The app is great! It does anything I would ever need to do and 2x more. It is very customizable. The only (minor) drawback is that it looks slightly dated, but I will still be using this app a lot.
This one is my favourite multiplayer timer by a country mile, because it has the unique feature of sitting the players around the table by colours, and the only timer function I really need, which is "upcount" (for each player the time used is simply accumulated). This mode is enough to exert some pressure on the A.P. prone, while not threatening them with an unfriendly time limit. This app is also very easy on the eye; overall just a class act.
THANK YOU very much for this app. It is precisely what we needed to keep "analysis paralysis" in check on our board game. Some people just take too long. We added rules such that if you exceeded your allowed 90 seconds per turn, that player would get $2 subtracted from their total at the end of the game. This helped keep things in check. I am using a Samsung Galaxy S2. No issues, other than recording my own MP3 did not work at all, the app kept using its own sounds. This was fine, no biggie. Suggested new features: 1) HIGH PRIORITY: bigger, more intuitive buttons. Players kept pressing the pause buttonn by accident. I think the green arrow needs to be the biggest button on the screen, its the one that is pressed most often, after all. 2) LOW PRIORITY: Statistics: the possibility to track a player's total time at the end of the game, how many times the player exceeded the allowed time (increment +1 when the timer expires) 3) WISH LIST (dependency on Statistics above): ability to add a "Cost" to exceeding the allowed time per player. So, for example, in our game, add $2 per exceeded allowed time. So at the end of the game, it quickly adds up how much to subtract from
Just what i was looking for
Has no built in sound effects and demands that I install a third party file browser before I can use my own.
Good multiplayer features. Only wish you add some audio features (notificationd, etc.) 2 thumbs up!!
I use the up count feature when playing board games. It encourages those who take a long time to have their turn to be a bit quicker!
Exactly what I was looking for. Already nearly perfect. How about a warning when time is running over?
Fantastic board game timer that supports various turn mechanics!
Great start, nice basic feature set, and a very responsive developer.
Super app - does the job, just what I was looking for. . Would have been perfect but it does not save game profile. I don't want tot keep putting same four family members in each time we play. If that can be added as a feature..would give five stars
This would be a 5 star if it could track turn timer and turn count at the same time.
