Marketplace for Android
This app is great, but would be a whole lot better if it could save the location where I pause a show to listen to the rest later. I'm tired of having to hunt around to find where I left off, especially since the timeline cursor is not that accurate.
Marketplace is a great source for balanced and hype-free news about economics, finance, and business. This Android app offers a deep archive of audio-based stories in an easy-to-navigate format. Some stories even come with a transcript which is helpful because the audio stream does not always connect. It would be nice to have a transcript for all stories.
I love the market place podcast. But the app seems outdated. I access the podcast from player.fm
Let's me listen to the show and re play something I might of missed. Love this app
Does not play stories/reports on Android reliably.
Make me smart is one of the top 5 podcasts available right now.
Chromecast. Add it now.
Would be better with a search feature.
Useful tools.
Very Informative
Love it
I am addicted to Marketplace, so I love the content. But if something interferes with playback, like a notification on the phone, the story can't resume, and the controls disappear except for a play button that no longer works. The app must then be stopped and reloaded, and you have to try and skip forward to where you were. Not safe while driving.
I really love Marketplace. I would love to love this app. However, things get on my nerves, primarily the way the app jumps to the next story when your at the bottom of the page. I am still analyzing or rereading. I would like to chose when I want to go to the next piece. Dang.
It's an indispensable show to which I listen always. But drops stream when paused and won't pick up again unless I force close and then im unable to skip to where I was; doesnt always update new shows even when refreshed
I love the show and would love this app if I could use it hands-free to listen to recent stories. The favorites feature and Play-All feature is a good start but stories get stuck in favorites (can't delete and don't disappear when I deselect them as favorites). I have to uninstall and reinstall to clear the stuck stories. I would like to filter stories I've already heard and be able to select which stories to listen to (e.g, past 24 hours or past 3 days, etc.) and which sequence (starting at oldest or most recent). I want to listen while making/eating breakfast or dinner or while commuting and don't want to manually select the next story.
This app was great for listening to marketplace podcasts until the latest android OS update. Now it randomly skips around during playback and doesn't download complete podcasts for offline listening. I hope it's fixed soon.
I love the show but the app needs some work - crashes if launched in landscape, loses its place if notifications interrupt it, etc, etc. I tend to use the website to stream on my phone now as it can handle being launched from landscape.
Recently, there is this particular podcast I cannot delete from the list. It is titled "What lies ahead as Myanmar comes out of isolation." Is this a bug or something else?
I like to listen to Marketplace weekend but lately I can't get the whole program to play. After playing for about 5 minutes it randomly stops and sometimes returns to the beginning of the program. If I try to move the cursor to the place in the program where it's stopped and then I push the play button nothing happens although it looks like it is playing.
Missed podcast... This the go to.
This app provides all of the marketplace podcasts which are all incredibly good. Highly recommend this.
Love having this in demand and to go
Used cars
Great app.
Love it
This app presents Marketplace as complete episodes but segments Marketplace Money. It does not even present the money tech pieces as a playable segment, you have to go to the tech section of the app to hear those. No "help". The "Public Radio & Podcast Player" app by NonlinearSoft is my go-to app for Marketplace Money. The only feature I found lacking in the NonlinearSoft app, is the ability to jump from segment to segment, instead of simply fast forwarding or rewinding fifteen or so seconds at a time.

Can't get enough marketplace
可离线播放。offline accessible。无广告。no ads。
keep it up
It has all the stuff I like and want to know. Only down fall, there are no text stories to read.
I really like this app. My only issue is that I cannot delete some saved podcasts.
The best thing to ever come out of Culver City.
I though you cjn shop on it but you can't
Great for catching missed episodes
The app needs more material design.
: )

No search function? Why risk me finding a story on another news site by searching on Google instead on right within your app? Also, bookmarking and setting up a preset daily feed (ie morning report and tech always ready to go at 7am) would be great for the morning commute)
