Paddle Ready

I live in Western NYS. Tried this app for 15 minutes to access 3 - 4 different sections. Tide data only generated "no data" for trip I'm planning. Access Points was worthless trying to pin down specific areas. Finger movements do not work or have to spend 10+ minutes to get close? I gave up before that. Most worthless app I have ever downloaded. Very disappointing.

The only reason I wanted this was for float plans and the people in group is stuck in numerical keyboard mode.

Poorly designed user interface. Naive organization of a set of tools which may or may not return results in your area.

Very useful info for all kayakers. Especially members of the American Canoe Association.

Couldn't find Tn River 5 miles from my location, no water level info, couldn't find access points , app not useful.

Now it only gives me an error message SSL certificate error alert and whether I press ok or cancel makes no difference the message continues.

I like the app for easy filing float plans and doing Course Reports. I have other apps for tides and surf. A little over blown with unnecessary functions.

States no data used to work not working any more

The river a tide information section works well and searching for nearby stations has never given me any issues. I use this app multiple times throughout the week to see what's going on at my favorite spots. I wish there was more USGS river data though. I don't use much else in the app.

If you need an app to tell you what gear you need or a safety checklist before getting on a river, it's above your skill level & you should stay off that river. I dont see how this would help any level of boater? Good boaters dont need it & might give newbies false confidence on new rivers resulting in death or injury.

This is a nice app and would have given the app five stars except for the fact that it won't allow me to save my float plans, which is one of the main reasons I installed the app. I have the same problem on my Samsung S5 and my Acer tablet.

The app doesn't let you enter anything in the date and time fields on the float plan, rendering the float plan useless. The float plan was the main reason why I downloaded the app, and now I can't use it.

Not much coming up for river search, and nothing for coastal search. I'm primarily SUP, this is kind of geared for canoes and kayaks. Needs more SUP stuff

The search for river levels leaves a bit to be desired. Very frequently comes up as "no results found" even when there are many possibilities within the parameters I've set. Otherwise clean and solid, if a bit thin on utility.

Just downloaded. seems very well done but Europe is left out of the river forecast system. Find instructors works here as well.Nice. Please extend.

Pros: Looks great, well planned, not buggy. Cons: I'm in NYC and it does not find any rivers in the area. It needs membership renewal feature.

I really like the river forecasting tool, simple and easy to use. A must for paddlers!

This app should be in high demand come paddling season. I love how much info it has and it's easy to use. I am telling all my friends about this app.

Very cool, user friendly, logical and incredibly useful. I'm just a few clicks away from finding a local instructor, watching a video about rescue, or emailing my friends a float plan.

The ability to file and email a float plan is a unique feature. In addition, finding a canoe, kayak, SUP, raft or rescue instructor is very easy.

Needed this for so long!

Poor app that states the obvious "wear a buoyancy aid, use a paddle etc etc" nothing new or outstanding about this app, and what sells the app doesn't work! (River levels)
