A team of young, vibrant Greater Toronto Area Bengalies have started a Durga Puja in 2011. We are celebrating our 5th year at Lions Banquet Hall, 45 Avondale Boulevard, Brampton, ON L6T 1H1 on the October 23 - 25, 2015. Please find all details on www.amarpujotoronto.org. This is an app to keep the users uptodate and provide real time event update on the events. Our objective: 1. Promote cultural, educational and social activities that are consistent with Indo-Canadian culture, with an emphasis to the people of Bengali origin. 2. Foster interaction and enhance the sense of identity among members. 3. Promote quality citizenship among members by reinforcing the Canadian values. 4. Generate understanding of Indian and Bengali culture, philosophy and social harmony among the residents in Greater Toronto and surrounding areas. 5. Initiate and / or participate in various charitable activities for the benefit of the local communities.
