Mobile Justice: California for Android
Important app in this day and age. Slight technical issue: video is inverted on my phone. Doesn't prevent the app from doing what it needs to do, more of an annoyance.
For those complaining it won't let you uninstall, Android requires the app to have admin access to lock your phone after recording. If you disable that feature, it no longer requires admin and will be able to be uninstalled.
Please make one for WA! In Seattle, we have the police dept under a federal consent decree because of use of force. We NEED this app for WA!
I liked the App. I only wished that our App would allow you to attach a video option to a report written. Sometimes I have extra video footage.
To uninstall: in app, uncheck the "lock screen after recording" option. Then uninstall from Android, not Google Play, the deactivate button does NOTHING.
How do I deactive this thing it is pissing me off it is the wrong one
I want to uninstall it and it won't let me! GET OFF OF MY PHONE!
BEWARE: This app is a system administrator and there is no way too stop it from running and impossible to uninstall.
Where's the one 4 Texas? Can I report to the other ACLUs until you get one 4 Texas?
Makes me feel safe durning sudden situations
DO NOT INSTALL! Cannot be uninstalled.
We need to support democracy. Support the ACLU
This is needed and I'm glad it was created
I love this idea, but we need one for Utah, please!!
Thank you
Nice app
This app should just sit on the phone till needed BUT every time my phone is lagging this is running in the background. What is it doing? Makes me suspicious and I believe this could be a more serious breach of our civil liberties than anything it was created to report. UNINSTALLING!
Zero stars. Want to make room on my phone and the uninstall thru phone or deactivate & uninstall in Google Playlist won't work smh. Jerks! Where's the justice for us to manage our phones? -- Update: Go to settings in app, uncheck lock screen etc. Then can uninstall on phone not Google. Smh :-( Not at all considerate to make uninstall so difficult to manage.
Great concept with some flaws that drain battery. I also don't like that the video I record isn't saved as a copy anywhere on my phone. Once you hit stop, the app sends the file immediately to your local ACLU. While it might sound petty, they can then sell your video to news outlets while you don't even get credited as having documented the abuse, murder etc on the clip
Nice idea, but let me delete the damn thing.
It has taken administrative rights and now I cannot uninstall it.
And you can't easily uninstall
The app claims all 50 states. But yet nothing for OHIO
I'll keep it handy. I believe most police officers are not looking out for citizen's best interests no matter how bad we want to believe it. They are looking out for their own safety #1, even if it means killing an innocent in a momentary lapse of reason. We are not safe from officers as long as they're human beings. The robots will treat us much better, no matter how bad you DON'T want to believe it.
Mobile Justice app for Texas please. It's a cool app but it's an app that if you're not tech savvy, kills your battery life. For those who may have this problem just go into the application settings and set the permissions to disallow all accept location. And force stop until you either restart the device or tap to launch application. Improvement can be applied to the app especially for battery life. Not to mention, this app seems to serve no purpose for places that aren't listed locations for the ACLU.

Worst app ever. Don't buy into this communist regime. Just gets people sucked into doing stupid stuff. Then the aclu sues to make their organization richer and the cost is passed to tax payers
For those of you complaining about the camera being inverted, who cares? Use your brain. Do you really think a judge will throw out the evidence because the video is upside down?
Camera is inverted for Nexus 5x phones. It's a known problem with the phone that Google has fixed with an updated camera API. The app is unusable in its current state.
I was making an important video, and the app kept stopping, and asking me to fill in the details. Totally useless this way. It has to be reliable to be useful.
Tried the test camera to record a test, but everything was upside down, regardless of which was I oriented my screen. The words were displaying correctly, but the camera showed things upside down. Using a nexus 5x
It has taken administrative rights and now I cannot uninstall it.
This app provides some great news, but when I tap the headline in the Alerts section, it clean pull up the article. All other functionality requires a network connection where there may not be Wi-Fi, which I cannot use because my tablet is Wi-Fi only.
I think they made this app dummy proof so that it's only confusing when Uninstalling to dumb-dumbs
Utilize this to your full potential, and you will feel confident in knowing more about your rights!
Its a cool app uninstall is simple setting>security>device administrators>select app>deactivate
Cops being punks
It works perfectly. My camera isn't flipped. Easy to use and remove. I love it.
This app will not let me delete it wtf. I've already deactivated it but still can't delete
