Speedshifter Lite

also bought the full version then after restart forgets that i have full version and goes to lite version. registration page also fails. it states that it cannot connect to internet, which is false. also ipad version cannot find tracks stored locally on the machine

The app can not choose a track to listen.

Had it nearly a week. Started off with lite version but had to pay £2.99 to try it out properly as it would only play a snippet of a tune. Having upgraded it still shows me on lite version and will only play a handful of tunes from my music library. Also at end of tune have to reopen the app all over again. Now use Audipo, it's free and has many extra features and user friendly

I played 14 seconds of it then told me the trial version was limited to one minute, buy now. I haven't had a minute! Response from ABRSM just tells me it's limited to a minute. I know that, I'm not stupid, but 14 seconds is LESS than a minute by my maths. Won't play a whole minute. Why would I believe full version more likely to work as described?

I'd just like to say, thank you abrsm, thank you very much for one minute of playing time for a student who is going to be performing a solo piece (with backing) for his gcse music course and doesn't have enough money to buy the full app. And frankly, I think I'd prefer to learn how to code and fully develop my own app, than buy one off an "association" who wants to cream money for a an extra 2 minutes of playing time off people who evidently want to improve on a skill that is already very expensive. Thanks

I tried adding my new violin piece to existing pieces from previous years. Have tried purchasing the music piece via Google Play then via Itunes; neither would add my piece to the old list on my Speedshifer. I even 'upgraded' by purchasing the full Speedshifter version. I am dissapointed because I was looking forward to using it for practice. After no reassurance/feedback from Speedshifter I've downloaded AUDIPO- for free. Does same job and allows tempo change for ANY tune in your music library. Result!

After paying for this app. A few weeks later I was being asked to pay for it again and did not work.

Keeps crashing. Get any of the many metronome apps available, to basically do the same job. Uninstalled

After registering and paying to upgrade to full version in the app itself, it still will not work. Tried to upgrade in Google Play Store and it still wants me to pay again! If you choose to upgrade, do it through Google Play, not the app itself. Have written requesting a refund. Also tried emailing the developer directly and twice did not go through. Yes, the email address I used was correct.

Updated: Fantastic Customer Support which helped me start using the app without constantly crashing! Five stars! --------------------- When pressing to select a song to play with, the app constantly crashes...i always FORCE CLOSE it via the settings app, but still not working!!! Other than that the app works great. Could you please advise me as to what i should do

I paid and upgraded to full version from lite but surprisingly I'm still having the lite feature. I cannot use it for my daughter's practice which is the purpose of buying it......very annoying and frustrating. Wasting of my money

Why does no one who designs these transcription type apps ever include a tab that you can click to set the start point as you hear it. Dragging tiny sliders along to set the exact point is usesless. App also crashes. (Lenovo s6000 tab)

Useful app to teach with. But - paid £2.99 to upgrade to the full version and it hadn't updated. Will not let me play a track for more than 60 seconds. Please advise.

I expected 60 seconds of a track to be available in this lite version. But no, its sixty seconds of playback time before you have to stop and reselect the track. Exactly one minute after starting to test the app - you are forced to stop. Yes I can select the track again - but with no search function on the track list, and over 1000 songs on my device - I can't be bothered. Way to make an app that is completely pointless. Wanted to test the app before buying it but after this experience... No.

Constant crashing. Keeps telling me to upgrade then has the error 'already owned'. Yep-i know that!

Unable to select a track to play, don't know why, just can't. Works fine on PC, maybe my phone isn't up to it.

I played 14 seconds of music, tried to select a different kind of track to ensure that worked too, it told me the trial version was limited to one minute, buy now. I haven't had a minute!

I could not even select a music track. It lists all the songs available in Google Play on the device, but not in other folders (e.g. Amazon MP3 not available, where I keep most of my accompaniments), in a long list with no search. Then every track I chose was deemed incompatible. Why show tracks that cannot be selected?

I bought the upgrade but now can't find it on my phone. I received an email with proof of payment but the actual app continues to tell me that I can't play the whole song because I have the lite version. Please fix this. If you can't I would like to know how I can get my money back.

I have tried to download both the paid version and the lite version and neither has appeared on eithrr phone or tablet. Very disappointing I paid for this app and downloaded both paid and free version s but neither would dowload on tablet or phone. Very disappointing.

Downloaded lite. Can't even open a track to test it and I agree with others than one minute is far too short. I thought limited to one minute meant that you could only play one minute of a track but no limit on number of tracks. Disappointed as it works well on laptop but having on phone or tablet would mean not having to mess around taking laptop into practice room.

Its too short a trial.... but enough to see it was better than another app in sound.... not enough to realise the short comings of the jog bar or file selection system. Also there seems to be some issue when upgrading to paid with the icon being renamed. I now have crashing issues and having taken the leap of faith and paid for the full version am very disappointed. I have contacted the ABRSM and will see what develops.... I have faith for now

Allowed to use for one minute then you must buy the full app. Should be called an ad not an app

to download and register. You only get 15 seconds of playback. No use whatsoever. The full version might be worth having but don't waste your time on this.
