ABRSM Piano Practice Partner for Android
This app will be very useful as I used it on my piano teachers phone but I have a grade coming up and I would like to play with my pieces on my phone however I can't just buy my prices instead I have to buy the whole collection could you please change this so I only have to buy my peices
Do you have grade 5
Can we set repeat the song?
I saw the G3 Moody Prawn Blues and went great that's the one I need, but very disappointed not the full track. And £9.99 is the price of the whole paper book?? You could have individual track payment for those who have chosen their three exam pieces, surely? :(
I am grade 5 and didn't realise it only went up to grade 3. Not very useful for me!
Only some pieces are free.
Bad!!! Not complete at all..unuseful application..better gone!
I love it because It is usefull
At this level I think slowest performances need to be even slower. Pieces NEED to be available one at a time otherwise your only market is piano teachers, not home practice. People only play 3 of the 18 pieces in the exam, and may not need this level of help with all of them. £5.99 for all pieces is 33p each, but 40p or even 50p for each piece is likely to bring more revenue altogether. At this price I just wouldn't buy anything.
Looks like a good application but why only upto grade3?
There seems to be a bug in the programming, the hands aren't disappearing when ask just one hand to play. Any ideas? The speech bubble doesn't switch off either. It worked on the trial version.

Should have more pieces. My pieces are not in the app

I'm doing grade 5, this would be a great tool to have however the pieces only go up to grade 3... Not very impressed.
Only gives us abit

When a user navigates away from the app, it needs to stop playing the music. This is such a basic idea that any professional programmer would know.

Its still at 0% downloading after 15 min
Please add version where you dont have to buy the pieces
And doesn't have grade 6
Only some pieces are free.
No grade 4
Talk about good
It is pointless! Only three free pieces, and only plays the beginning!? I uninstalled. :-( :-( :-(

Absolutely awful interface with obvious controls missing. Then I saw the cost of buying a grade worth of pieces... I don't think ABRSM quite understand how people think about payments on a tablet/phone!
If you receive full notation for those prices it would be worthwhile but as this app is more rhythm focused, £10 only for a rhythm app is too much. Would also be nice to have the whole range of grade 1-8 pieces.
And doesn't have grade 6
Can't play the note .
Wouldn't install on my phone as it's so big (why 20Mb!?). Icons on main screen are confusing and non-obvious. Had to go check the instructions screens in detail to figure out what the pitch shifter wheel was because it didn't appear to do anything and it wasn't at all clear that it was in any way disabled and the odd O/I button enabled it. More time spent drawing more appropriate icons for the buttons (esp the happy/sad button) instead of more cute 'hands' would be well spent.
This app is so easy to use and makes practising one hand at a time a much more musical experience. Playing along with this app like they would with me in a lesson will really help my students during their practice and the hands are fun...they look to be inspired by some of the grade piece titles..nice touch!

I installed this app on my tablet and bought a piece of music. When I installed the app on my phone, Google says I already own the piece I bought but the app says I have all of the music purchased and it's nowhere to be seen. Very annoying.
