Great app I can't whistle very well or at all really.. The app is still able to pick up my "whistle" and play the music of my choice.. Saves me from wasting time searching for my phone after I've midplaced it and I think this is the neatest app I have on my phone thus far..

To make it work properly, you have to force it to close and remove the notification from the top bar after every use. AND I never know when it will work. It's just not worth the trouble. I want to set it and forget it. But you can't. Great idea though.

This app is perfect so long as you spring for the 99-cents to go Pro, except you can't have another app monitoring sound (I like to using Dragon app on driving mode). But this is an Android issue. My one beef with the app is the phone has to sleep for it to work (ordinarily, I set my phone to 'never sleep'). This is a setting I want the ability to change. A couple of notes. If, like me, your teeth or lips aren't ideally configured for whistling, a) set it to the highest sensitivity b) stick a whistle on your key chain and one in the house (I put my house whistle on a string tied to a hook on the wall). In general, I'm super-happy with the ad-free version (the one with ads is intolerable). It won't work if your battery's dead, obviously, but Bluetooth and wireless hardware devices are unreliable by most accounts, regardless of cost, owing to battery issues, as well as faint alarm sounds, and difficulties working through walls. (plus the low-end ones are, for practical purposes, too fat to stick on the back of the phone).
