What are users saying about Fine Volume Control Unlocker

by A####:

The demo mode works flawlessly. The purchased version gets the job done, but not with the flawless beauty of the demo app. The media volume only goes up to 50%, and the sound sometimes glitches when changing the volume. Please get it together Opotec, these features are not okay in a paid app. I will rate this app 5 stars once these bugs are resolved.

S70%
by S####:

Pretty awful regret buying. While it does allow for greater volume control. It completely ruins it by randomly jumping to 100% and completely deafening you. It also doesn't support volume control out the app. All in all regret buying.

J70%
by J####:

Volume control buggy, hard to use, with very little documentation and above all, screws up the factory volume settings requiring a factory reset (at least on my phone). I do not advise the free or unlock version.

S70%
by S####:

Keeps popping up the volume dialler for no reason. Used to be better? No way to change preferences

P70%
by P####:

I got the 'trial expired' while I have an audiobook blasting in my ear when I'm ready to sleep at supposedly the lowest volume setting. Pay $3 for a volume adjustment app?? Yup!

S70%
by S####:

Works nicely, but if you have root just get an Xposed module

S70%
by S####:

Don't miss the proximity sensor feature that allows you to bring up the volume control.

S70%
by S####:

Works great to give fine control of volume. Extensive options available. Just what i was looking for. Happily paid the small fee.

Y70%
by Y####:

Bought this on recommendation that it would improve poor volume control on HTC One. Unfortunately all it does is allow selection from stock "2%" lowest volume to "1%", however it randomly readjusts back to stock, plus anytime you adjust the audio you have to go back into the app and adjust it manually or reload the preset. Basically, useless. $3 wasted.

D70%
by D####:

This app has no business trying to steal my contacts. It also doesn't smoothly adjust the volume. It's either too quiet or it blasts music at full volume.

D70%
by D####:

Randomly jumps to 100% which defeats the point of 'fine audio control' and also the reason why I brought this app, which was to save my ears from load headphones, not to have them randomly blow up by 100% volume

D70%
by D####:

Suddenly stopped working after over a year without problems. So disappointing.

I've been waiting for the fix that lets me play louder than 50% for a while now. This bug makes it unusable, both my headphones and my speakers are not loud enough at 50%. It seems like it shouldn't take months to fix something like this.

D70%
by D####:

Too expensive.

D70%

Finally can adjust volume to a good level!

A necessity.

Since the 6.0.1 update, my Nexus has been deafening me when I tried to use my LG headphones for music (they still worked for calls, but not music). Finally, finally I can comfortably bring the volume down to a reasonable level again. You saved my eardrums!

Z70%

I got the trial and tested it to remove the warning in android on above loudness limits. It worked. Bought this. 2 days later the warning is back. The pay one fails to work. I wish i could get my money back.

X70%
by X####:

Worked perfectly on the trial version, when I bought the full version, began to jump to 100% when a new song begins and the dial isn't synched with the volume sometimes. Please fix this.

X70%
by X####:

£2 seems a bit much, and the volume control mechanism is a bit clunky on my Moto E, but does what no other app does and allows v low volume.

X70%

Works nicely, but if you have root just get an Xposed module

Majoy incompatibility with new snapchat.

Y70%

Let you go even lower than your lowest volume! Is really great too if you think that a certain volume produced between two levels isn't quite what you want. Well worth the purchase!

U70%
by U####:

This is a great app that I use all the time. I love my music and I want to be able to listen to it... Without worrying about hearing loss. It does everything it's supposed to and I appreciate that in an app. One minor thing to add would be so that the max headphone volume limit also applies to the volume buttons on the phone itself. I don't want to accidentally blow my ear drums out. Over all it's a great app and we'll worth the money.

S70%
by S####:

I wanted an app that would give me fine control over volume, especially at the lower end as I found that my phone doesn't go quiet enough to comfortably listen using my in-ear earbuds. This app did that perfectly on my galaxy S2. However, I'm on a 2nd gen moto G now, and most media playing apps seem to reset the volume to a 'stock' level after every song regardless of what 'advanced settings' I use. Sadly this seems to be the only app with this functionality so I'll have to live with it / wait for a fix.

P70%
by P####:

I'm a light sleeper and do not like waking up to loud alarms. I had my Note 4 set to the lowest setting and also the quietest possible alarm and it was still too loud for me. This app lets me take it down to finer increments and I am happy with the 2% setting. This is all I need this to do and it works great. Thanks folks!

U70%
by U####:

The volume suddenly spikes randomly while adjusting the slider bars, but apart from that it's all right.

A70%
by A####:

Love this app but now not working... Unsure why...

K70%
by K####:

On xperia minimum default volume is 6 percent so this is great for going below that.

U70%
by U####:

My music was always too loud even at the lowest volume possible (20% by default). With this app I was able to control the volume from 1 - 100% which made things MUCH better. If you're like me and find the lowest possible volume on android to be loud then this is well worth the price.

X70%
by X####:

Go into advanced settings and change volume control to low or extra low. Minimum volume will be far quieter than the default. Perfect for listening to music at night to sleep.

D70%
by D####:

Haves to connect to internet periodically. To validate license Even when not on wifi.

I needed this app Samsung Epic 4g touch volume levels are too loud this fixes the problem

C70%

If minimal volume is to loud, this is the solution!

U70%
by U####:

If your Android phone is blowing your ears out when you wear headphones than this is the app for you!

U70%
by U####:

No complaints here.

U70%
by U####:

Does exactly what it says, and does it well. Only app (that Ive found) that allows for this fine of volume control. Well worth the purchase price, and highly recommended.
