OpenContactsFree opens the contacts list of your android-device.
Some tablets without phone-functionality (like Odys Next) hide the contacts list to the user. OpenContactsFree gives you the possibility to open the contacts list anyway.
Important Notice on startup failures
There seem to be two different types of tablets without accessable contactlists:
1) The first kind only hides the contactlist to the user. In this case Open Contacts Free is the right choice and opens the contactlist for you.
2) The second kind hasn't any contactlist installed. In this case Open Contacts Free can't open the (not installed) contactslist and (I appologize) fails at startup. If you have a tablet of the second kind, try to install some kind of Contact Manager App, e.g. GO Contacts EX. Thanks to user Roman Will who tested this out.

I own a Scroll Extreme tablet and one of the missing items is Contacts. Having tried a number of office products that, quite frankly, had too much functionality and tried to synchronize with every account I have ever owned I needed to find something that focused purely on contacts - and here it is. "Open Contacts Free" does exactly what it says and presented me with a full view of all my contacts within 5 secs of installing. Perfect! Great! Thanks! Keep up the good work. Top marks my man.

This fine app works well in Xperia Tablet S.. im using Exchange2010 Active Sync and this app opened a door for me to easily get my full outlook contact details without using my Xperia S Smartphone.

I own an Arnova 9G2 tablet which I manually flashed. Unfortunately The Contact icon was missing (but the contacts are available). You app finally allows me to get access to my contacts! Just great, thanks a lot.

Little short of magical No access to contacts on my cheap and cheerful Onda tablet, despite having 3G SIM. 24kb of Tim's wondrous code in seconds and - ping - all there! Brilliant!
