Power outages occur for various reasons. OG&E’s mobile application gives you a snapshot of outages affecting more than 50 customers in our service territory. In most cases, power is restored in less than two hours, but sometimes more serious outages are possible due to ice storms, thunderstorms, extreme heat, tornadoes or fierce winds.
To report a power outage or downed power lines from within this application, please click the “Menu” button on your device, then click the “About this app…” button and then click “Call”. Otherwise you can call 800-522-6870 (outside the OKC metro) or 405-272-9595 (within the OKC metro) or report online at oge.com.

The most annoying flaw on this app's part is that it lacks even the basic functionality of the website. Online, there are interactive maps detailing everything to do with outages. When you log in to your account, you can submit an outage report with a quick form instead of dealing with the terrible, clunky phone tree. This app is just a text list of outages in the area. If you're not on a phone, you don't get any reporting options at all.
