Within the Dota 2 Universe, when being a hero defending your Ancient as a Dire or Radiant, you constantly collect/ buy items through gold which you get for destroying the buildings of your opponents, or killing them and their Creeps. You can choose from more than 100 items like Consumables, Attributes, Weapons, Armor, Artifacts, etc (find more in the Dota 2 wiki, lounge, forum of the scene).
Items are objects sold by shops, or dropped from Roshan that provide an Ability, Bonus, or other function. They come in a multitude of forms and types, and can be very different from one item to the next. The space for your items in your heroes inventory is limited. You can only carry six items at the same time. Six more items go to your stash. Purchasing items is essential to the course of the game, because items provide necessary benefits that improve the effectiveness of both your hero and your team. Uplevelling alone is not enough, you'll need items to get additional benefits. So you need to trade.
It depends on your heroes attributes, which items to buy or trade and it influences your item choice whether your hero is a supporter, initiator or a carrier for example. Each of the more than 100 individual heroes you can choose is tied to one of the three main attributes (intelligence, agility, strength) and generally has four abilities, from which one is the ultimate ability, which is to be increased up to level 6.
With the trade-offer system at Dota2Lounge, you will no longer have to trade manually, instead, you will be receiving, or make own trade offers for items. These offers could only be accepted by the web browser or the steam application (which is the Valve platform) on your computer, thus lacking any possibility to have an individual overview of trades based on your own choice. That is all over, now you can now easily keep track of your trades, trade offers and bets with the Trade-Observer for Dota 2 Lounge.
You may already know the Dota 2 Lounge, which this app is based on. You have the betting panel (trading offers) on the right side and the trading panel on the left.
