This app already reports the camera as being offline. Weekdays going on? Please advise on fixes.

I use this app to check on my kids when I'm away from home. I love it

It was a fight to get this to find the camera. It's not staying connected long enough to change settings... Do yourself a favor, return the item that uses this. Pay more for a better item.

App worked beautifully before I let my sprint note 4 do the lollipop update from KitKat. after restarting my phone many times and uninstalling and reinstalling hoping it would correct the issue. Still not working. I use this app every hour to check my cameras at my home. I hope they make this a priority to fix ASAP

The connection part of the setup was easy. There are few things that I wish the developer add: The ability to use the zoom function, the option for the camera to take pictures and start recording video when the motion sensor sends the notification to your phone or tablet. In my case I installed a 64 Gigabytes micro SD card but the camera doesn't recognize, it can record pictures taken but cannot record video. Please help.

just downloaded this app with the latest version. It worked fine when the winbook cam is directly attached via ethernet to the router. WHen the ethernet cable is removed from the cam, the app just shows offline - nada. how can an app from the hardware manufacturer not working with its own hardware is beyond me. I am running samsung s5 with lollipop. Frustrated user

It works- barely. It does stay on and connected to the data all the time and the process will kill your battery in all versions of android I tested. The cameras made by vstarcam are good and vstarcam monitoring and recording software is excellent. Once the cameras are updated they work pretty well other than when the sd is full. Direct connect via ip is possible as well as thru the web- but don't count on winbook bothering to to fix their end of life rebranded product. You can't even kill the process.

I had previously written that it no longer worked with 5.0. I emailed the developer and he sent me a beta version that worked. It has now been distribued. It once again works perfectly with my Winbook cameras. I can keep an eye on my doggies again.

This app works, and what it does do, it does well and is easy to set up. However, there are many features that would be very useful that this software completely lacks, and sorely limits the potential of the hardware. In case the dev is reading, what I'd really like to see is programmable movement routines, pan/tilt that can automatically pause routine and follow motion traveling to edge of field of view, and most important ability to automatically record and save motion to a NAS instead of internal SD.

I installed on 2 Galaxy S5, 1 on Android running 4.4.2 and 1 on 5.1.1. After I make a video recording, it shows up saying I have videos. But when I click on the videos , there is none. Please fix. Everything else works great.

Works great from both WIFI and T-Mobile internet service. Anyone not wanting to keep theirs I'll take it. I could use more as I care for my 93 year old mother and have two and would like a couple more. Works as long as I have T-Mobile connection or local WIFI. It takes some time to figure out how to set them up but once you figure it out they work great. Samsung Galaxy 3, live view, two way communications, monitor sound and video.

Aside from a poorly formatted GUI most features work but the software does not have settings for recording timers even though the manual shows it does. Also shows it has a one year warranty but no where anything manuals just tell you where to send it when you need the warranty. Is this correctly you can only record when the app is running doesn't record to the SD card by itself? Did I mention that the zoom features don't work either? I will be returning this tomorrow.

The camera won't run unless hard wired to the router. The sound works outbound but not inbound. I'm not happy.

I was using this as a baby monitor and a monitor to watch my 90 year old grandmother before the lollipop update. After the update all I watch is the force close screen! Lollipop has been out for quite some time, not to mention how long developers have had it, you'd think by now Winbook would have this fixed. Looks like i will be looking elsewhere for my security camera system if they are this unreliable.

It's 'ok' with 4.4, but sometimes slow and eats up your battery.
