go48g for Android
Dev makes a great product.
Poor quality graphics. Misses keytaps.
It would be great if the HP 49 emulator were free, as I am used to it, not to this funky precursor
Unusable. same memory message lockup as others
The equation library is built-in in. The TEACH command installs programs that draw graphs. The Equation Library shows equations in textbook format. There are both single variable and multi variable equation solvers. All of this is free.
The response of the keyboard is too slow and the haptic feedback is annoying because I cannot turn it off.
Unresponsive and full of random crashes up to the point of being almost impossible to use for me (and I kept it for many months because I didn't know any alternatives)
I really like this machine, which is just like the original, except that it is better because it never needs new batteries. I've had a small issue with it recently - the keyboard is not as responsive as it was, an has become difficult to work. Perhaps I need to reinstall. :-)
I really like this app. It retains my programs. I was bummed when my actual HP48G broke. This app is a great replacement. One question: I want to suppress the vibration on key strokes. Is it possible? Even though it is suppressed on my virtual keyboard, the vibrate nice still occurs within the app.
I was using the app on a Nexus 5, android 6.0 with no problems (great app, thanks). The 1.1.0 update made it unusable. Keys now have haptic feedback, and the response is awful (1/3 of the touches produce vibration but are not recognized by the app). Uninstalling :-(
This is one of the better done ones, and it actually retains saved programs between sessions. (As it should) The feel has been massively improved too, a big bonus! The HP ROM has been freely available a while now, so it's only usability differences that distinguish between models. This is certainly the most usable. I'd buy the 48GX version, too, but I think it's a bit overpriced at the current 8 GBP. I'm sure that halving the price would more than double the sales! I am upping the rating to 5 stars!
.. asks "Try to remove memory?" at first launch. Refuses to take no for an answer. Would love to try but can't. (Update) Uninstalled and restored. Got past ram setup. Vibration feedback needs to be removed from all your calcs. Many people are complaining. Replace with audio feedback please. Keyboard a bit hard to read. Compare with skin on Droid48. Positive, this calc is a true simulation rather than emulation. It's running the actual HP binary. Upgraded to 2 stars because of keyboard.
Please remove haptic feedback it causes inputs to not register when typing fast and is annoying. Otherwise works great, no crashes unlike other emulators. Updated skin would be nice. I found I can disable haptic feedback by using the battery saver function on Nexus 5x. However I cannot disable it any other way. Hapticswitch app didn't work.
Fast key presses result in a haptic feedback bump, but the command isn't performed. Missing entries makes this useless, even dangerous for important calcs. Lame UI look too. Look at m48 on iOS to see what a 48G emulator should be.
Loads up asking to try recover memory (displayed on Calc screen), but ignores all key inputs. On an s7
Is it possible to implement an option to disable the (for me annoying) haptic feedback?
Works but has a gew quirks. Doesnt always register key-presses and sometimes screen is blank when opening app.
This app works as far as it goes. It's real purpose is probably to entice guys like me into getting GO↑48GX. A user considering GO↑48GX can try this app for free. If it works on their device GO↑48GX will work. The TEACH command is a good way to get some very fast drawing programs that can be modified. The HP48G Equation Library is there and fully functional. For the price (free) nothing will beats it!
Doesn't crash as the droid48, but is unresponsive to touch. It's really annoying. And no, it's not a problem of my device. It's the only app in my phone that's really bad at registering touch.
Very stable in comparison to droid48 so far. droid48 started having issues when I purchased the Galaxy S5 and now with the S6. Very thankful someone has provided a better application.
Has the Equation Library, the Minehunt Game, Units, Graphics and the Examples directory from the TEACH command. All for free. If you are contemplating getting GO↑48GX, try this app first. If it works well then GO↑48GX can be expected to work.
Quick key presses are unreliable and sometimes a key gets stuck in the down position
Has an equation library and a constraints library built-in, If you are considering GO↑48GX. install this app first. If it works property, GO↑48GX will work.

Recover memory wont accept No to start app on Galaxy 7 S edge. 48SX version of this app works fine...is there issue with both being installed??
Just like his other calculators. Hopefully he fixes it.
Very good.
great!
I hate the vibration in key press after 1.1.0. Could you have an option to turn it off?
An error from the very beginning that can't be cleared.
This actually works unlike the crappy droid48 app that keeps crashing on Android Intel tablets. An authentic skin would be nice, but otherwise this is perfect.
Our developer is updating to accommodate newer versions of Android. He will read what you write and work on the problem. Send email if you are having a problem. Don't dump bad reviews.

Have several actual 48g and gx calculators so this makes it readily available. Once this proves out on S5 I will purchase gx version.
Latest update has hepatic feedback which constantly forces me to slow down every type my last entry. Also it does not have a menu key for those phones that don't have a physical menu button it makes it impossible to access the menu
Seems to work OK, but it jiggles around when you press a key, and, even worse, beeps when you make a mistake. And there is nothing at all you can do to stop it! Even though everything possible on the phone is set to 'silent'...
Now haptic feedback is turned on with no way to disable. Please fix and I will gladly rate higher.
Enough said. Does it all.
I wish I could use this app, but the bottom section of the calculator is cut off by the in app menu. Can't press 'on' or 'zero' or 'decimal' or 'pi' etc. Making it quite unusable.

Good App but it misses some key presses when typing fast.
