Organic Chemistry Nomenclature

Quick flashcard-like repetition of the functional groups is sticking in my mind much better than any method my professors tried for teaching functional groups. Two things I would like to see added and changed about this though. 1) on correct answers, don't have the next question come up so fast. Sometimes I don't know the correct answer so I guess, and when I guess correctly I don't have time to look at the group and correlate it with it's name. 2) a study option to see groups and their correct names.

I love how quick it is and the variety that is available. I would like it more if it showed us how many we got right vs how many we get wrong or something like that and perhaps or progress?

It does nothing but crash. When it does function, there are only a limited number of very basic examples.

This is boring app and you can only find chemical groups. Actually you have to know about what chemical group it is.

I think this app is good but if you choose a particular topic the questions repeat.. there should be more questions and it should have good graphics too to make it more interesting .

It has helped me a lot but I could could have a wider breath of structures because it leaves some structures out

I'd guess it's an American thing but I'm looking for the other form of nomenclature. The app is good and does what it says on the tin.

The concept is really good and it really helps me, but sometimes when I look at the statistics page it marks answers wrong that I've gotten right

Anyone who has trouble in memorizing chemical structures and names MUST download and use this app regularly

Perfect for learning names of intermediate functional groups, heterocycles, ect. Learning lots keep up the great work!! :)

This app is wonderful for practicing naming and reviewing compounds. It could be slightly better overall but it certainly exceeds expectations for a free app.

I love this chem app more this is the easy way to understand more difficult problems

Thanks to developers that they make this application because it is very useful for study but need some more stuff in application

However this app doesn't have IUPAC names of the heterocyclic compounds

I have downloaded like a million app for organic chemistry and I can say that this is the most helpful one ! This is the perfect way for anyone to get familiar with structures and names :D the heterocyles part is awesome. . i am totally astonished please add more and more questions .. Thanks a lot

When I downloaded the app I thought it was IUPAC nomenclature but instead it's only functional group nomenclature, anyway it's a good app!

Just keeps on repeating same questions but itwould be better if ot has standard and iupac names both

It's very helpful since I am about to start organic chemistry.

It is so hard to train your mind to remember the foundation of Organic Chemistry and many students struggle with that. Apps like this make it much easier.

Not a g8 quiz app but if u want to learn structure then its ok
