TimeBox for Android
I like how customizable it is. I was wondering why my phone needs a recharge constantly. It needs a sleep or a thread wait on a timer. Has nothing to do with the screen being on.
App looks nice and is easy to use. It offers customisable time periods (pomodoros) and pause functionality. But a major issue is that it is not reliable with the timer not completing.
What I love about this app is that each task can have a different timer, for instance 15 and 20 minutes. However, it's not exactly a beautiful app. I know, the appearance is really not that important, but still...
Fantastic app. Love the UI. There is one thing missing: I would like to be able to get to the menu during a countdown without having to stop it. A small countdown widget would be great too.
From one developer to another, you do know how to build software. Any chance to add some statistics in the future?
This is a fantastic app. I use it all the time. What attracted me the most was the ability to customize and create your own presets. I've found that when I use the standard Pomodoro 25min/5min, I tend to lose focus around the 15 minute mark. So all I did was create a new timebox with 15min on and 5 min off. I will usually leave the app running and set my phone on the table in front of my so I can see exactly how much time I have left. Unfortunately though the flashing animation on the remaining time can be quite distracting, depending on your lighting situation. I would love to see an update where you can turn off the flashing. Beyond this minor annoyance, this is definitely my top timeboxing app!
This is the best pomodoro app on the market, because 1 it's free 2 it's highly customisable 3 it looks good ,I believe every line should get this app
Force close bug for ICS fixed, dev great to deal with. Great looking pomodoro app - wonder if you could do an ICS theme? ;-)
I was looking for a pomodoro timer that allowed you to pause and resume. I get many people interrupting me at work, after I assisted them I would continue my task but other timer apps forced me to return at 25 minutes. This one allows me to do what I want.
keeps crashing if i minimize during a break. it starts a new pomodoro when i go back into the app even though it should still be counting down my break Thanks!
HTC Incredible 1 Pros: Simple and automatically adjusting ratio of time to break that I've not seen in any other app. Cons: Cannot figure out why there is absolutely no sound regardless of settings.
I like this simple app. But not possible turn off green visualisation. it is annoying. please fix
It would be great if there was an activity log as well. Love the simple interface.
It does what it says it does but i feel it's effectiveness really suffers when there's no way to log or track....5 stars for sure if this is incorporated!
An app has no alternatives.
Small size, but last update 2012. The application is minimized only the "Home"button. Only full screen mode (no statusbar).
I had no idea how much time I must have wasted when srudying, this app helps me to keep focused as well as making sure I get breaks at the right time. Nice looking, clean interface. Thanks guys!!!
Pulsating green progress bar distracts me from working. Otherwise good.
Force closes all fixed. Awesome app for productivity, great design.
Should pause and wait for user action after each pomodoro/break. For now it doesn't give time to think about next pomodoro.
The UI can be much better. I don't know what really put me off - I can't put my finger to it yet. Just yet.
excellent app with simple but attractive UI
Doesn't open on most recent version of ICS - shame cause this one looks better than the others!
Really liked the concept and customization options on Gingerbread, now force-closes on Ice Cream Sandwich (Galaxy S II GT-I9100).
Nice app, nice settings menu but it resets the timer when returning to it from the notifucation area. Also timer stop working whenrunning in bqckground. If you use your phone only for this app it worka great, but thats ludacris.
FC on Asus transformer
dont know why all the low rating,it needs no user action, the ui is great and no force close on galaxy note.
Mulitask minor bug.
Forced close on Galaxy Note. The function looks promising, I'd like to keep a try.
FC on galaxy nexus.
Love this clean and useful app

sometimes returning to a running timer from notification bar resets timer
Works great, thanks :)
It was fantastic and I loved it! Until...it stopped itself without telling me. I was like, "fine, I'll just reset it". (I'm a patient person after all) After the timer kept stopping and resetting itself four times (and my brain was literally fried from the amount of work I did) I decided to uninstall. If they manage to fix this bug then I'll happily reinstall and use this one. But at the moment, it's just not reliable enough for me to use.
I had hopes for this one - I was looking for a timer with the ability to define multiple intervals, and this one does just that. Unfortunately, the app ignores device orientation, so it would be awkward to use while the tablet is plugged in.

This is a simple app which requires little memory But the timer shuts off when you hit the back button instead of continuing to play in the background while I use a different app on the phone. Found a different pomodoro app, so I'm installing this one
