Mobile Storm for Android
An excellent way to view StormVue data on a mobile device.
Just what a lightning chaser needs!
Host unavailable. App useless.
Good ..but Leyland UK station not working..
No settings. Stuck on New Zealand! Useless!
If you like going out for a walk and need to know your chance of getting soaked, this will help. It could even save your life. If you spend all day indoors then don't bother!
Dissapointed
major storms in US but no lightering huh, please update
Would not work only the map works. It kept saying downloading then stopped.I couldn't get any information to come up and wouldn't refresh either sorry too many bugs
It's a good app but it needs to have Melbourne as a location as only Geelong is listed.
Works great on my Droid2 Global, contacted author and had my detector added to the list. Would be even better if more StormVue/NexStorm users in the US would make their data available.
Very simple setup. Works well.
Great app, easy to set up a custom feed.
I live in Florida
Awesome!
Works well
This would be a brilliant app I'm sure - if there was info for where to get other location data files from. I'm from the UK.
Did not work on my Samsung Epic. Removed from apps.
Nice work, saw it on the forum and decided to buy a new phone
Good for a quick reference but only relying on one detector its never going to be as accurate as the ATD which the UK Met Office use.
I live in FL. And it shows nothing and it is thundering now also there is no info on the lightning
Calgary detector stopped working this year. Not much use to me now but was good for a year.
It wouldn't find my location
Does not show my area
UK Data
Since update strike symbols are too big. And why does the app have an issue with updating some of the map tiles
You could say its for new zealand only.
Simple and does its job
Nothing but error messages, Samsung Note. Can you give an app no stars?
It only has locations in the central part in the US. I watched some scattered lightning strikes, none appeared on the map.
UK detector seems misaligned to MetOffice RADAR and lightening map if not spatially then clock error (BSTvGMT?). Also there is no key - what do the colours mean? And strike symbol id a small dot almost impossible to see when zoomed in. And it seems to miss all the storms I've been near. Rubbish.
An excellent way to view StormVue data on a mobile device.
Fantastic app. Use it all the time
Gives you the option to select specific Lightning Detector Stations from list or by clicking on map. Select UK Detectors and see the strikes on map with an activity Graph at bottom. Good Alternative to Blitzortung.
Only works for preprogrammed areas, watched 7 lightning strikes in Central Texas, none appeared on app.
Loving this app. Not a great deal happens in the UK but nice to know when and where :) Use to have one in the isle of white, any chance of adding it as its closer to me.. Good job
Very interesting app.. If you had the option to overlay the rain radar, it would be Perfect for my viewing interests! But great work! *8vD
Just what a lightning chaser needs!
Needs to make use of more sensor data.
