About Wilderness NZ
If you're coming to explore New Zealand, make sure you download the free Wilderness NZ app, giving you the freedom and comfort to explore New Zealand in your Wilderness campervan.
The Wildernes NZ app displays your current GPS location then shows the nearest campsite and holiday parks, (free, low cost and fully serviced), petrol station, free wifi, real-time road alerts, supermarkets, dump stations, public toilets, LPG filling stations, laundromats and everything you need when you're on the road.
We are part of a collaborative project called GeoZone which aims to make it easier to travel responsibly by sharing facility locations, so if you find something not on the app, or if you find a location that's no longer there, you can submit it through the app and contribute to this awesome project.

This app is good for general information but does not include Lat-Lon of holiday parks and the TomTom Wilderness RV supplies doesn't know where Holiday Parks are by name in most cases. The Official Camping NZ App includes Lat-Lon for parks and is a more useful app for navigating with the GPS navigator that Wilderness RV supplies.

Must have app for campervanning in NZ. It has plenty of great campsites and things to see, all in an easy to use format. Also stores data so that when you hit mobile dead spots you can still find things.

We spent 3 weeks in New Zealand with 17 of those days in a Wilderness campervan. This app was single-handedly the most useful in helping us find camp sites, diesel, fresh water and dump stations, and things to do. We had a magical time exploring both islands. If you are considering a campervan trip, this is a must-have!

Great 'community type' app for seeing what services are around you as you travel. A lot of great advice on here. A must for travelling NZ. Our holiday wouldn't have been the same with out it. :-)
