Only just got set up. So far it's OK. You could have saved me a lot of time with some set up instructions on how to get started. It just opens straight into categories of trade even if you're not registered or authenticated so I started trying to do things without knowing I had to start an account. Not all of us are used to how apps work. Will see how it goes.

A real pain at times - not being able to edit auctions on a different device you listed from - unreliable / inadequate back button. Loosing blurbs easily when leaving page. Greedy auction costs especially for vehicles, control auction issues ie. Prescribing what next bid has been to be over certain priced auctions...

After few updates, developers still have not sort out the problems with the app. If you want to use bigger fonts, it Will cut the written lines and make the use of the app impossible. Come on, every other app can handle that but trade me developers still can't get their had around it for months now.

The App itself is great (The rating is for that). It's does the job well. Fluid, Fast and easy to use. Haven't encountered any significant issues of note. Good Range of Filter / search options (similar as per desktop site), though sorely needs a way to filter out International sellers (not specific to the app, but to TradeMe itself). Trying to search for anything yields a tsunami of overpriced items from International sellers. Any "used" items, from Local private individual sellers wishing to move pre-loved goods on seem to be getting fewer and fewer as years go by. Unfortunately, decided to remove the app from my phone because I'm bothering less and less with TradeMe now due to the aforementioned reason... I don't go to TradeMe to shop for international goods.

The closing soon sort by option on $1 reserve does not actually show the auctions that are closing soon. For myself, this makes the app redundant

Extremely annoying, search functions are good but you to jump through hoops to get information you want, even if i go for full site still app keeps coming up on clicks.

Can you add the 'more stuff you might like' button?

Awesome app and easy to use

Samsung Grand prime. Only downloaded in the hope of getting an issue fixed... I use the desktop site regardless if I am on a phone, tablet or pc. However on my phone it won't seem to let me get the normal site and I'm unable to view the touch trademe version... please look into this.... Thanks

Since the latest update, it takes about 30 seconds to open any of my listings. Makes it almost unusable waiting for it to open. I can't be bothered editing, checking how many watchers, or answering questions....just too much hassle. I have to use my browser. Hopefully the next update sorts it out.

I LIVE BY TRADE ME :-) forget all those other review we have this app on over 25 devices and only one of those devices glitches (HELLO it's an iPod 4) Keep up the good work I don't know what I'd do without Trade Me

Search is stupid in categories,When u search a item in a category then want to go back from that search, You carry that search item with you so only way to get rid of that search item u have to close app then open up and start all over again...what a pain and waste of time...1star

App no longer lets me enable push notifications, now i am no longer alerted when an auction is ending soon or someone asks a question on my auction.

I am no longer able to message any seller. It says something bad happened and its like this for last 3 4 days. If i cannot message the seller how can I make a decision to buy the product.

Good app - you can search the trademe website, and filter your search by category/price/payment/postage. If searching clothes, you have the added option of dress size, brand, colour filters, sleeve length etc filters. When paying the seller, you can email and pay directly from the app. However - this goes for the website too - the app needs options to filter: BETWEEN NZ AND INTERNATIONAL SELLERS, and BETWEEN SELLERS USING COURIERS AND NZ POST. Additionally, more options or multiple options per garment like tagging would be useful in clothing - sleeve-length and dress-length in dresses (rather than formal/casual/other), a t-shirt/blouse/#buttoned or workwear option so blouses and t-shirts aren't lumped together.

Latest update much better. Still can't search for members or be able to copy/paste bank account numbers and reference numbers

Keep getting message 'something bad happened please try again' whenever try to buy something. Ready to uninstall and buy from international sellers on Ebay.

Need a serch new zealand option in location. Hate going region by region just to get rid of international

Latest version doesn't open the links shared in Gmail and WhatsApp. When click on links for example rental property, it will open trademe app but lead to the main page .

Pretty dumb how if you list something on the computer you can't edit from phone. Wouldn't think it would be that hard.

Not happy with not being able to ask for fixed price or relist in app
