Spark NZ for Android
Logs out all the time. Can't ever use the top up function. Displays wrong dates and times says I have no data when I do. Preferred the old app only redeeming quality on this app is the lovely purple schema.
I'm a user on a shared plan and previously I could see the total data used and remaining by the whole group which helped me manage my usage. Now all I can see is "You have used xxxmb". Please get the total group data used/ remaining function back on the app. Why did someone think it was a good idea to take out this function? Or is it there and I can't find it? (In which case, the app is not very intuitive). Fix it please!
Well the purple Colour schema is one that should not have been used as it is a hard colour for many to see. So the last orange green theme i could see all I needed to know just by oping the app at a glance and close it this one seems to place Data above all least it is a number showing what is left. I need to press buttons and scroll, for a closer look at least I am now the first account visible I still prey I don't hit a buy now button! It is worse than you know but better than last time I wrote a review I have up-ed the stars By 2
Has shown error 'oops! Something is technically wrong' for 4 days. Can't buy extras or top up and has shown the same data/text/minutes for days. So frustrating!!! Seriously considering changing providers as the app is consistently unusable.
Don't wanna wait for my extras to be cancelled. I just want to delete them all and be done with it. Not delete one and wait 500 years then go back and delete another. Also really hate that it logs out all the time. U have to have data to log in just to check your balance etc. At least make it so you don't have to have data to check
According to the techies at Spark this doesn't exist; they denied all knowledge of it when I needed some help. Yahoo was bad but this isn't much better.
Disappointed in app. Twice now when topping up via credit card it has double topped up my phone. And its slow and hard to get around browsing. Annoying app
Why since you last messed with the app can no one in my company see how much shared data we have left? That's the very reason we all check the app! Please put it back.
Getting better, but the WiFi locator needs updating as places/ locations are not correct though out the country!!! Very annoying to find it if it's not actually there
The app itself I guess does the job. Perplexed at why I need this app in order to set auto renew and auto top up. (Why can't this be done through the My Spark web interface?)
Just says 'oops there was a technical problem, try again ' and has done for a week or so now. Can't check my data or bill :/
Got a sim & top up even selected and purchased a prepaid plan for my son. Can make outgoing calls and texts but no incoming. Needs to register sim but always seems to be under maintenance. One of NZ oldest telecommunication providers but yet one of the slackest. Reason i left spark in the first place. Would rather pay to unlock handset and switch providers to be honest.
Can't see why need to load app just to set up autopayment - should be available on Spark website as other providers do - fail.
This and the NZ lotto app are the 2 most crappy apps on my phone..very poor effort
It would be much better if you could show broadband usage per day and not just a total.
Can't even get the app to launch. As soon as it starts up, it just says 'Opps! Something is technically wrong. Please try again later' not a very informative error message and has left me at a loss of what to do.
What happened to the thank you page where the movie tickets were that sucks not changing until i can see them again
Displays error all time. All applications are working fine on internet except for this one.
Crashes all the time. Can never log in. Sometimes won't load. Really annoying!
So easy. So much you can do now!
"Oops something is technically wrong" can't do anything, can't update, can't top up or even log in.

When will this link properly with a business plan?

EASILY TRIGGERS unwanted future PURCHASES unless you're VERY CAREFUL New App layout is terrible. They just ignore your feedback. A horrible app and phone "service". Phone staff are clueless about app problems and disparities between their advertising and what you actually get and are argumentative. NOTE THEY CAN TAKE TWO DAYS TO PROCESS A TOP UP PAYMENT. + The data update on the app is usually woefully behind what you have done.
