SKY GO NZ

There is a long long list of things wrong/faulty/ poorly programmed. But the worst of all is no immersive mode when watching full screen. One line of code would fix this but has been this way for years. Would recommend anything other that this but if you are like me you have no choice and a doomed to live in fustration.

Paid for sky and skysport, yet this app Consistently tries to tell me I'm not a subscriber and blocks all content. Happens at least every other time i open up the app. As the main sport and television provider i the country this is terrible. Will probably cancel my subscription soon and use other means of watching content, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Please fix

Jeez! It would be good if it worked every time I wanted to watch something. . AND I find that me trying to watch shows on my computer are just about as bad as it doesn't seem to want customers to enjoy SKY.GO either.

Very hard to get it to scroll where you want to go. Keeps wanting to scroll sideways when I'm trying to choose a channel. Won't go full screen so my s8 has a big white bar at one end. Time to sack some of those old board of directors and get some new blood in there, just terrible considering their huge budget

The app would be good if it worked. Constantly crashes four times in one hour. It's been like that since I first installed months ago. Sky still haven't fixed it. Just crashed again. Then can't log on or says Internet connection to slow. Now that vodafone has bought sky, it will never get fixed much like the entire vodafone communication network. In my personal experience. Update 6 months later. App still rubbish. Tried to use it on holiday, crashed within minutes. Cannot wait for another provider to start up. I'll swap in a heart beat.

Sky TV is dying. They need a new business plan and they need to replace their management before it's too late

3 Stars as you can watch a small selection of channels and there is no other choice but to use it. Doesn't get anymore due to the following: Can't navigate without touch, if you would just accept some other input commands, that would be great, then would work nicely on my nvidia Shield. Slow loading, and advertising at the start...really?! Use the Material design guidelines. The app looks nothing like your other branding, so make it easy, stick to native Android UI guidelines. No HD. Seriously, low or high quality. Very minimum should have HD, with the option of 4K (especially for sports). The HQ takes a fair bit of time to get going to, which is painful with you have a Fibre connection and 4K TV. Come on guys, you use Sky UK tech, time you used it all and made it easy on yourself and your customers.

Poor . FIX THE BLOODY APP LOOK AT ALL THE PISS POOR REVIEWS. if this is how you handle customer complaints sky tv will not be around for long can count on that . #streamtakeover

Third time tonight during Aussie Open it has crashed. Try to restart theapp as it tells me to do then it tells me that the app is already open on another device and have to restart my tablet. Then miss crucial plays. Grrrrrrrr! Why does the damn thing time out all the time. Have missed crucial plays in sport too many times

No Chromecast support, hard to log on..... Telling users to "try again later" when wanting to watch live sport isn't a great business model. App also crashes from time to time. Sky have no idea when it comes to technology and customers.

Honestly a very stupid app.only works from a computer.asks for additional info from the sky decoder but doesnt work even when you correctly enter it in. had issues signing in aswell.freezing.glitches.errors.dumb app

Hangs all the time, and force quits for the hell of it. Also has a malfunction where the Kardashians appear every time I launch the app......

Seems to crash every 30 minutes for no reason. Very limited selection of channels. And NO CHROMECAST SUPPORT.

Hardly ever works. Terrible app. Cant wait for sky to die so someone can do it all properly for once.

Not sure why on new S8 note some channels work and others don't.

Terrible.. Buggy and slow.. Sky is an outdated company using outdated technology.. This is yet another example of this incompetence

Disappointing

Useless app, useless company. App drained battery in just 9 hours from full running in background. Why does it need to run in background? Uninstalled, and seriously considering ditching Sky altogether. Put up with over priced rubbish TV for too long.

No Chromecast means this app is a waste of time. Cant even watch the catch up shows. This app is almost as bad as the skygo website version where you just get a black screen when you try and watch anything.

Updated 01/10/17 The app was great at first but now it's just getting dumb. Keeps saying data connection is lost but I'm at home on WiFi. Will update my review when this is fixed.

Keeps telling me connection lost. I have full internet and all other apps incl Netflix working perfectly. Have used skygo for years why all these issues now ????

Never works. Seems silly in an age where netflix and other apps work seamlessly. Edit. It's been a few months since my last review. And it's still just as rubbish as before. Cheers Sky.

On my S8 App plays fine for 20 seconds then freezes and only audio remains normal but yet on my S7 its perfectly fine.. please fix this issue... :(

Very unstable app heaps of issues with consistent streaming. Always something wrong with picture or sound or buffering even with a great net connection. No wonder you sre losing customers.

FFS. This is the worst app I have ever encountered. Crashes every time I use it. No wonder sky is dying. Keep up with the times and update your service for this day and age. Catch you up subscription.

Complete waste of time app always has a problem not even able to log in now!!

This app is just like the digital decoder. Absolute shyt! rip offs!
