Best Fish Guide Beta

Forest & Bird’s Best Fish Guide application makes it easy for users to learn and understand more about a particular species of fish. The Best Fish app ranks fish that are available at fish retailers in terms of their management and the impact of the commercial fishing method used to catch that fish. The aim of this app is to encourage consumers to select a sustainably caught and managed fish for their meal. The app links back to the Forest & Bird website, www.bestfishguide.org.nz, where the user can learn more about each species, any major ecological concerns and view recipes (using Best Fish-endorsed fish) by top New Zealand chefs.
