I agree with other comments here about the change to less transparent pricing. In fact I haven't brought a power up since the change. Looking to move to another provider because of it. Frankly I hate this type of obfuscation. You have until my Pre paid purchases run out to add the option for absolute pricing again or you've lost me to another vendor.
I was waiting too long to get the old system back. It's not only that they change the system. Even the deals are much less then the first year.... It's time to find another provider. Thanks, for the first year.

The "new app system" actually changed the way packs work. There used to be a direct and objective discount relation between packs. The units system never lied. But now, since they are hiding information behind the "average day" thingy, I can only conclude that all packs cost the same. The only difference now is the amount you are buying, so no discounts AT ALL. Smart move guys, smart move. So amazing I am not even mad... Actually, I am. And I'm leaving you.
Bring back the old system. I don't want to know how long my available power will last. I want to know how much power I'm using. Only then can I compare if your power per kWh is competitive.
Love the app, but why did you remove unit rates on Power Packs? Please put them back. Other than that this is a great tool.
They have totally confused their charging. Avoid Powershop.

mine stopped working about a week ago after the unit change
Put the unit prices back on the specials and unit usage data back the way it used to be! Very deceiving way to sell power using approximately $per day rather than the actual unit price. We will be switching companies if this isn't resolved
Used to be awesome but since the unit rate has been removed from specials and what I've used I feel like you're trying to rip me off. The new special setup doesn't seem like much of a special.
I think this is a terrible mistake. I'm leaving so fast they hardly see me go if they don't fix it. It says I have no money in the account and I have heaps. I be blowing down the phone come Monday.
Unit prices are great way to show my purchases and usage. Please bring it back.

Very well written app
I have been a customer for the last 10 month and I use the apparently frequently the only problem I have is one the month has ended the is no potion to pay in instalments. I am in a flatting environment and its hard to put money on in advance. Could you please add an option to pay part of the owing bill instead of adding in onto the next months.
No longer shows per 30 minute usage.

Worst Power company to deal with. You are far better off joining ELECTRIC KIWI. They are no1 in NZ....where PowerShop is now 3rd. Do not join PowerShop, you have been warned.

Really hate this app since its been changed to dollars per day. I really have no idea how much power I am actually buying anymore so the whole point of using powershop has gone. Definitely switching to flick as some as my $150 credit has been used up.
I have been with powershop for 12 years and now im looking for another company. I really dislike the new $per day where it used to be units perday it doesnt tell you how much your actually using or buying anymore.
@powershop why are you not listening to your customer feedback? the change from units to per day is frustrating. If you want to introduce per day - why not show both??!!

The updated app is confusing. They have deleted the kWh units making it harder to compare. I'm considering to change power companies.
Was better before you took away the amount of units in each pack, I don't know what I'm buying because the estimations are well wrong
Household appliances include wattage on the label. Imagine if your dryer was labelled with "uses 0.1 days of electricity per hour". That may be where we're heading, but the powershop app now appears out of step with the rest of the electricity ecosystem.
The new app is confusing. You can't see how many kwh's you're buying for each pack. Combining multiple properties into one is dumb, especially if some are tax deductible.
This app will tempt you buy power by coming up with special rate offers. If you do ur calculation right then at the end of month you will figure out that they just are ripping of customers as they end up paying more than their current service provider. I will switch back to Energy Online as they are not cheaters like Powershop. I thought we will save some money by switching to powershop but for the last 4 months i have ended up paying way more than my previous energy provider.
Been with powershop for a while tried using another company found it expensive so shot back fast to power shop never will I leave again. They been fantastic to deal with.
