The MINDA app is simple way to quickly record events from wherever you are on the farm. The MINDA app includes all the features of MINDA Lookup, MINDA Calving, MINDA Mating and MINDA Pasture in one app as well as additional functionality for recording health events.
Features:
Synchronisation automatically within mobile or wireless internet range.
Review, approve, edit or delete animal events in the holding pen before making it an official record.
Record events for more than one herd on the same device, and if devices are shared between staff the can us their own MINDA on the web sign-on information so it is clear who has recorded which event
Look-up
• Search for your animals by tag number or birth ID
• Essentials screen shows a summary of key information about your cow; breed, age, sire and dam, BW, PW, herd tests, calving and more
• View last herd test results and season to date production stats
• Display your herd's calvings, matings and pre-mating heat details
• Check health treatments, diagnoses, quarters affected and withholding periods
Calving:
• Record that the cow has calved and details of the calving; sex, fate, ID, assistance
• View the calf’s expected BW to help you decide its fate
• Use temporary tags, then assign an official ID later
• Alerts if a duplicate calving for same cow has been entered
Mating
• Record that the cow has had a mating (DIY or Natural)
• Record that the cow has had a pre-mating heat
• Add multiple cows when recording a mating or heat
• Receive notifications of animals that have had a heat or a mating recorded in the last 17 days (short returns)
Health
• Record a health diagnosis and treatment/s
• Create a health plan for multiple doses of a treatment
• Add multiple animals when recording a diagnosis/treatment
• Enter milk and meat withholding periods
• Save common treatments to the device
Pasture
• Record pasture covers into MINDA Land & Feed
• Farm walk summary including paddock area, latest cover and available feed
• View historic information including pasture covers and available feed at last farm walk
• Record a farm walk over two days
• Have multiple people contributing to farm walk information
• View and record covers for multiple farms on one device
• Edit pasture covers for the current farm walk

I've lost count at the amount of times my pasture as suddenly denied me permission. Then I have to reinstall. Call Centre can't fix and here I am again reinstalling this buggy as app.

Good app works well but if posible under pasture can we have a daily grazing rather than having to log in on the net to enter it and also be able to put in %of paddock grazed as you can only do total paddock thank you

Pretty average, lacks updates. A simple return to vat in the to do list would be good.

When I look up my cows under the reproduction history tab and it says the current sire for the cow. Could be great to click on the bull and see some overview of that bull,maby a photo or two of the bull even some of the daughters would help during calving thank.

All good but as mentioned can't add an health event from earlier date. Plus like to see grazing calendar added to pasture module. So I can fill in which paddock is being grazed on that day. Cheers

Need to be able to cull cows. also need same kind of group idea as minda pro cause if you have animals with different herd code to your own you can't look them up by birth I'd!

Good like it but can't enter an event that happens the day before. You should be able to select the date you matted cows or had cow calve etc

Can no longer see the BW of a calf when recording a calf with the calving app. Very disappointed.

Any updates have been a backward step. A common treatment setup for 6 treatments only comes up as a 1 treatment. No improvement to list on who is on withold either. Not helpful sorry
