Absolutely dumb method of entering a date of birth. Need to go through a calendar month by month to find the date. so someone like me over 65 years old needs to swipe over 780 times.. Looks like the app was written by a 10 year old. Should be more convenient rather than using members to be a trained monkey

Finger tired to swipe to my birth date in setup screen.. not even bother to try the app. Please have a few senior people to test the apps. Look forward to the new release.

The dumbest method for forcing you to enter a date of birth. Did a primary school kid design this app and did noone from the AA test this?

The app worked well for connecting to the breakdown service, I was phoned back by the operator within a minute. However the app keeps stating that the service person will be at my address within the next couple of minutes... Then updates to the next couple of minutes...

Great app. However, it's a real pain having to tab back month by month to input your date of birth. Just typing it in would be a lot easier!

Great helpful app. Loved being able to see the van coming on the map, and tracking was accurate. Very easy to start a call out. Good quick response too.

It would be a better app if you sort out entering the birth date. Extremely painful at present. Option to manually date would be a simple solution.

Just a heads up to those having issues with entering DoB... I too had the same problem, being faced with entering something pre 1960s. So I went with default date. Of course it had a hissyfit because it doesn't match their records and I was advised to call the 0800 number for help, which I did. Wonderful service from call centre. She checked the app on her phone and we found if you tap the date above the calender then a list of years comes up to choose from and just scroll through that. Much easier and they agreed tech developers should make it a lot more user friendly and more obvious for us. Not had to use the app for callouts yet but handy nearby tab shows gas stations, AA service centres, mechanics, etc nearby. There is a torch symbol on the page too, it will light up your camera flash when you need it.

Absolute gem! I only pressed two buttons and got a guy to come and help within 15 mins. This app replaces old tedious method of calling, waiting in line and giving all descriptions about your location.

I have to get my birth date to 1947, so now after 3 tries I chant bother to use the app. Endless lapping back from 2017. Time waisting app.

Buggy app. Wouldn't start and after repeated calls and re-installation to AA as directed by the app, I gave up.

Method of entering birth date is a joke. Is it an April Fools joke? How long will it take to enter Feb 1961?

Fix the date picker!!!! It is ridiculous to make us smile through every single month to get to our dob year.

If you tap on the year it will open a window to pick the year you want. Muppets

Great app never a problem

I installed roadside rescue app on device this morning and rang AA for a call out, the call out was in the busy time they said 1 hour they were there 45 mins after ringing. Having to travel 25 kms I was not in a hurry but thanks for the service and officer Rob car all fixed and on the road.

Have just installed the app and had no problems doing it. Now have peace of mind when out and about.

I was salvaged using this app with my car on the flat tire stuck on the highway.Nothing was needed other than this app.This is a must have app if you are an AA member.

I loaded this to get road conditions as that is the category the application is listed under but all the application gives is callout accident and location.

So far It has taken me 10 minutes to load my birth date. To the people that made this app, GET REAL ! you should be able to change your year of birth with out having to go through 60 pages of each monthyear Other wise looks ok.

Needs road closure info. Info is available on the non-mobile friendly Web site but almost impossible to read & navigate around.

Took a couple seconds to realise that you can change your birth year by tapping the year in the top left. Otherwise, yeah, it does what it needs to do.

I'll have to take a week off to put my DOB in.

Have been unable to use the app because I havn't been willing to sit there and thumb backward all the way from May 1999 to my month of birth; the App doesn't let you type in your DOB manually or even choose the year of birth in order to improve the process. MAJOR usability problem; i'll go back to ringing the 0800 number.

Works well but trouble with sending my location when making a callout - I'm on Android 6; it only allows me to register one vehicle - understand that may work for most but not for me; and est arrival time does not update.
