CacheSense for Android
Featuring an attractive and intuitive user interface based on the latest Android design guidelines, CacheSense offers an unparalleled feature set to meet the needs of all types of player from the casual weekend cacher right up to the hardcore lifestyler.
Full-featured mapping includes multiple map sources (Google, OSM and others including custom map sources), automatic caching of downloaded map tiles, support for offline vector and tile maps (MOBAC, Mapsforge, Locus etc) and the ability to generate offline maps directly from the map view. The map screen provides all the layers, filters and tools a geocacher needs for serious planning and navigation.
Built-in geocaching compass and radar and support for Google navigation and other 3rd-party navigation tools make finding caches a breeze while powerful offline support and publishing features give you complete control of your workflow in even the most demanding environments.
Full support for Pocket Queries and GPX import/export, including automated background Pocket Query sync plus a free desktop companion tool for instant loading of the largest GPX files (with support for many GSAK attributes) combine with powerful Dropbox integration, multiple database and multiple device support to make managing your geocaching data a pleasure.
Other features include munzee support, social networking, email monitoring for new cache notifications, powerful trackable functions (including auto visiting), bookmark lists, favorites list and custom waypoints.
CacheSense is under constant development and has strong support from an active and friendly user community.
Please Note: CacheSense works best with Premium Geocaching.com membership, Basic Members are subject to Geocaching Live API limits including 3 “full detail” cache downloads per day and restrictions on cache types and searching.
I've always exceeded my limit yet haven't even opened the app in days. How about a refund?
Having problems syncing with website again after latest update, uninstalled and reinstalled a few times and tried different settings to no avail.
Two problems with this app:it keeps telling me that I've exceeded my download limit, and I've never downloaded anything! Also, I can't view the description of any cache, or the hints. 5 stars if there is a solution to those problems!
Please add support for multiple trackable logs at once for 5 star!
Very happy with the application. Works well with both Geocaching and Munzee, which is exactly what I wanted. I tried the demo, then quickly upgraded to the full version, and had no regrets. Using on Android 4.2.2.
Worked for awhile...now won't load at all. Gives a foreclose error.
I like that it gives you options for driving, walking, and radar distance :)
...it is the superior app in the store.
Excellent geocaching app
Needs updating. Navigation in app is difficult
Love this app!
Doesn't load any caches at all. Everything is working fine, it just isn't showing anything on a map. Maybe its not meant for the uk. Which should be made clear
This is my go to geocaching app. It's user friendly and quite accurate!
IMHO the best GC s/w ATM, and getting better every day. Has the most features of all geocaching apps.
I loved this app at first. Now it keeps telling me i cant load caches near me, and not updating coordinates and such. If i paid for this app, i should be able to search for things and use it fully and completely. Very bummed i spent money on this.
App is not letting me sign in/create a username. Map loads nothing. Cannot fix problem.... perhaps I'm the only one dealing with this-as all of the other reviews seem to be quite positive, but regardless, the app does not work for me, so I must rate negatively.
I use this app all the time. It is full of features, but does take time to get used to it.
Cannot imagine not having this app!
I switched to this app from NeonGeo. That's also a decent app, but this one seems to have a few more functions, and I like it better. I like how it integrates with the GC website, so you can quickly look up a user profile, or see a travel bug's page from the app. I would like to see a better search/filter function, though.
I tend to use this as my main geocaching app.
Perfect in every way
It works great for spur of the moment caches, and I like that it will show special Munzees. It would be nice if it showed all munzees. But ths biggest issue is that Virtuals don't show on the map. And recently a traditional wasn't showing up. I had no filters set or anything. I even reset the app, and re-installed it too. I can almost understand the Virtuals, even though it has been an ongoing problem that you would think would be fixed by now. But a traditional? No reason for that. Check it out GC3E4QV doesn't show on the map. You need to search for it.
Love the ease of use. Very user friendly. Great video resolution.
Haven't used it much yet...not bad, but i need to figure things out
Been using this app for the last week and love it. It is easy to use. Well worth the $5. I bought the official geocache app years ago and I like this one so much more.
Most features but least reliable. Oct 14: while the map appears to operate properly again, and caches don't disappear from it, I've added a star. Will remove it when inevitable release breaks it again.
This app works perfectly and fufils all of my cacheing needs, i searched forever to find the right app that would let me look at caches offline and this is it, my only wish is that they had a tablet version, thougb i dont really know how they would make it any better than it already is!
Been using cachesense for years now. Has everything, does everything. Plus, Awesome support! Just ask!
All in one app - unbeatable
I have (or mostly had) many geocahing apps on my Android. Most of them fell by the wayside, abandoned by their developer. CacheSense has two things going for it. First off, it's a great geocaching app, with all the various tools you need to find the cache: Listings, including ways to get the data from Pocket Queries, Live API, GSAK; and Maps (Google, OSM, Locus, etc.). But secondly, and just as important, a developer who is active on his own forum and responds to users needs and requests. Yes, there is a slight learning curve, but that's why there is a free 30 day trail version. Give it some time. It took a little over a week for me to "get it." Once you do, you'll appreciate the app, and like me, you'll probably make it your primary geocaching app.
Small icons are very tiny, normal icons are huge. Would you please give something in a middle.
After sticking with version 3 now for ages, I read the latest change log on the current version. Seems like it's back to being my goto geo app. New rating from me.
I constantly use this for all my caching needs
Haven't had a problem as long as I've had the app. Always works and seems to be continually on the improve
I have bought and payed for the other geocaching apps and this is by far the best one. Still the best app...
Best one I have used by far
Got recommendation from local geocacher. Tried myself. Not better then c:geo. Only two pros- multiple log upload at once and slightly faster map navigation. Lots of cons: constant errors complaining about cachendownload limit exceeded (i only browse my city of Vilnius). UI is buggy: sometimes geocaching api wont stay turned on . Some geocaches are not displayed on the map, cant edit final coordinates so they are sent back to gc, constant internal crashing and asking to send back crashdata to devs...
Love this app, no need to buy an expensive gps unit. . This will do the job quite well.

CacheSense is a good Geocaching buddy, and I use it in addition to c:geo because both apps have features which the other one doesn't have. Unfortunately, versions 4.x still have problems downloading caches via GC Live API (workaround: set filter to display *all* caches including found, you must not exclude anything otherwise you will miss caches).
