tastecard Restaurant Discounts

Don't even try the trial! Nightmare to get off the subscription once you're in you're never getting out! The customer service just send terms and conditions paragraphs showing they are just a group of legal idiots who spend their time working out how to make it impossible for people to get out! The customer service team are as rude as they come as well!

The concept is not bad but if you want to unsubscribe you have to CALL them as they "can't process it via email"... to me, that sounds quite silly and a waste of time.

Really gone down with regard to choice of restaurants. As for the Taste+ (for which I have had to pay extra) - do your homework, hotels and other offers I have looked at I have found on average at least10% cheaper elsewhere.

Need to update participating restaurants. Went to one today but refused to take card advising they are no longer in partnership with Taste card. Quite frustrating.

Cannot log in. Every time I try to log in with my Google account the app crashes. I only have the app, no actual card, so now the tastecard is useless to me.

Trying to find a participating restaurant is hard enough and this app only marginally helps make this process easier. Taste is a great concept but due to availability limitations its lost it's appeal.

Am using the Google pixel xl. App just crashes wether attempting to sign in. Rubbish.

Do you have to book beforehand to use the card? Im still confused on how to use it do you show the waiteress the app and thats it or?

The app is great but let down by the number of restaurants in my area accepting it. There used to be more :(

Half the places i have tried have either do not serve on weekends even if its not mentioned on the app. Also so restaurants had the wrong address inputted, having been misdirected countless times

Not been able to log in using Google + at all for at least a week. I don't have the physical card as the app has always been good enough before. Annoyed at all the money I could be saving!

I want to find a restaurant near my home on a tablet not by phone A lot of older people do the prints too small This is of no help to me and I can.t find a way to contact Tastecard to give wider access

The in app search doesn't work at all. No results found every time. Tried postcodes, towns, cities, nothing shown. Only works on current location and that's it

A waste of time as some of the restaurants are closed. I have not managed to book a place in the 4 tries I have done

Glitchy and can lose your valud membership and crash just when you need to show the virtual card to the restuarant

Passwords created on the Tastecard website can be incompatible with the app and they can't be changed meaning it is impossible to log in.

Installed fine. Continually updates content without ever completing and won't register my card.

Brilliant for when you are out and about somewhere new. The app tells you want is near by so you have a great choice. Tonight it was strada and very good it was too!!

App no longer works following renewal cannot activate with google account and will not send a new password.

Search facility not very accurate

Easy to find local restaurants and use the card to get money off

I find the app easy to use and saves having to take my taste card everywhere.

This app does the job, but it's confusing to use, everything looks crammed in and unappealing, the buttons and tabs are all too small for touch devices. It's brand new but it feels like it's 10yrs old or designed in India for old phones.

No the smoothest of interfaces and it takes a long time to update the database when running in online mode. Does the job though and it's good to be able to see the total savings over time.

Able to easily monitor your savings using the card. Have found some great new restaurants but equally some have shut down or are no longer part of tastecard but still come up in the searches. Would be useful to have an option where the user can update if they come across a place that is no longer available. Great substitute for when I've forgotten my card too! There's still room for improvement but it's fit for purpose.

Took ages before anything appeared in the feed; nearest merchant out of date- closed ages ago, and I have no idea what I'm supposed to enter when it says "enter card details" under "activate"?!

Could be so much easier to navigate. Gives you pretty much all you need but a bit clunky and not very user friendly.

Does most of what you want it to to do, other times can be blotchy especially with clicking on specific restaurants to then try and 'use the tastecard button'.

Site is incredibly easy to use.. not sure what site the below negative numpties are talking about, as I just started using it for the first time ever and I love it. Very easy to understand, no pissin about, straight to the point with however, all the details and content about that specific location and/or activity so you are fully informed before making any decisions. I personally think it is great and I fully appreciate this app and the creators behind it!!

Generally a great app. I do wish there was a way the staff could get details of your card / app quicker. Sometimes it can be confusing to get around the app.

Probably the most frustrating app ever. It is impossible to leave the screen you're in to go back to the home screen or to go anywhere once you have clicked on a venue. I am currently trapped in an Italian restaurant somewhere in the app and cannot get out. Help!

Very useful, has everything you'd need to use card and very user friendly. Digital card accepted at most places now so the app is all you need!
