NJFF Rett Hjem

NJFF Rett Hjem er en app som lar deg sette et punkt, det være seg bilen, hytta, sykkelen, teltet etc, og når man skal finne hjem igjen følger man bare den røde pilen. Appen benytter kun kompasset og GPS slik at internettdekning ikke er påkrevd.

Om bruk
Denne appen er utviklet av Norges Jeger- og Fiskerforbund. Appen er ment som et supplement til kart og kompass og håndholdt GPS, og er ikke under noen omstendighet ment å erstatte disse verktøyene.

Forutsetninger
Appens funksjonalitet bygger på GPS-signaler og et magnetisk kompass. Du trenger derfor ikke å være innenfor dekning fra din teleoperatør for at appen skal fungere. På den annen side kan du oppleve at appen ikke fungerer like godt innendørs, i byer eller i tettbygd strøk.

NJFF Right Home is an app that lets you assign a point, be it your car, your bike, tent, etc, and when to find home again, just follow the red arrow. The app only uses the compass and GPS so that internet coverage is not required.

On the use
This app is developed by the Norwegian Association of Hunters and Anglers. The app is intended as a supplement to map and compass and handheld GPS, and is under no circumstances meant to replace these tools.

Assumptions
App's functionality is based on GPS signals and a magnetic compass. You do not need to be in service from your service provider for the app to work. On the other hand, you may find that the app does not work equally well indoors, in cities or urban areas.
