A simple metronome with an option to add a harmonic layer with a bass note and chord. Meant to be a lightweight tool to use when you're practicing improvisation. Set tempo by using the seekbar or tapping the tap tempo button.
All sounds are configurable (choose any GeneralMidi percussion sound for bar, beat and subbeat, and any GM sound for bass and chord tones).
You can also configure the volume of the sounds separately using the mixer.

Worked the first time out. But on trying to quit the app, the sounds kept playing in the background. Opened the app again, the sounds shut off. But now no beat would play -- only the background sounds. Tried to find if anything had gone wrong in the settings -- nothing had. Would be happy to pay the $1.50 to get rid of the cheesy "Find Russian Girls" ads, but won't pay if the paid app is buggy, too. And it may well be. By the way, you can only run the free version of the app if you've got wifi -- the developer strongarms you by having the app not play unless you've got wifi connected. Would be great were it not for these issues.
