It suffers from degrading performance the longer you use it, making simple scripture lookups take a whole minute or longer, and getting longer the longer I use the app in a session. After working with Olive Tree support, they finally shrugged their shoulders and said there was nothing further they could do. I run this app on a Google Pixel so I don't believe it is device related. I had exactly the same issue on my old Motorola RAZR Maxx. So, I have solved the problem myself and now use another Bible app which, does NOT suffer from the same performance problems. Too bad, because I really like the features of this Olive Tree app, but it is simply too frustrating to use. July 2017: Now, 5 months later there is no improvement in performance on any Android device, even though there has been one update since my initial post. The only conclusion I can draw is that the Android market is simply not important to the folks at HarperCollins.

Biggest problem - you cannot exit. This frustraring hassle is 3 yrs old now! No vocal playback of text. Come on Olive Tree. Get it together. I virtually quit using it! Good translations for the most part. The program appearance by Olive Tree is the best of the Bible programs .
