Deze zwemwater-app geeft u informatie over de kwaliteit en de veiligheid van officiële buitenzwemplekken tijdens het badseizoen (1 mei tot 1 oktober). In deze app zijn alle gegevens van waterschappen, provincies en Rijkswaterstaat verzameld op één plek. Zo beschikt u altijd over de meest actuele informatie. Via de zwemwaterkaart of de makkelijke zoekfunctie kunt u meteen de kwaliteit en veiligheid checken van zwemwater bij u in de buurt. Bovendien kunt u meteen zien welke voorzieningen er op deze locatie aanwezig zijn.

Disclaimer
Tijdens het badseizoen wordt de kwaliteit en de veiligheid van het water op officiële zwemwaterplekken gecontroleerd. U kunt in de app zien wanneer de controle is uitgevoerd en wanneer de volgende controle is. Op basis van deze controles wordt een melding afgegeven met een advies wel of niet te gaan zwemmen. U mag vervolgens zelf bepalen of u er wel of niet gaat zwemmen tenzij er een verbod is afgegeven. Indien u wel besluit te gaan zwemmen ondanks een waarschuwing of negatief zwemadvies neemt u een groter risico op gezondheidsklachten. Het is altijd verstandig te douchen na het zwemmen in natuurwater. Buiten het badseizoen wordt het zwemwater niet onderzocht.

Disclaimer
During the bathing season, the quality and safety of the water is monitored on official bathing spots. You can see in the app when control is performed and when the next control. On the basis of these checks a message is issued or not to go swimming. Advice You can then decide whether you should or should not go swimming unless a ban is issued. If you do decide to go swimming despite a warning or advice against bathing, take a greater risk of health problems. It is always wise to take a shower after swimming in open water. Outside the bathing season, the bathing is not investigated.
