Beelden in de stad Utrecht

De 'Beelden in de stad Utrecht’ app toont alle kunstwerken die deel uitmaken van de openbare kunstcollectie van de gemeente Utrecht. De werken bevinden zich zowel in de openbare ruimte als (voormalige) gemeentelijke gebouwen. De app geeft achtergrondinformatie over de kunstwerken, die vervolgens opgeslagen en gedeeld kan worden. De app heeft een eenvoudig uitgangspunt: kunstwerken in de stad Utrecht beter zichtbaar en vindbaar te maken.

Met de app kunt u op pad om kunstwerken te ontdekken of kunt u –wanneer u in de stad een kunstwerk tegenkomt–eenvoudig informatie over dit kunstwerk opzoeken. Hiervoor heeft de app een unieke locatiefunctie die informatie geeft van uw positie en de kunstwerken in de buurt. Er is een mogelijkheid om een route te maken vanaf uw locatie tot elk kunstwerk.

De app is vanaf elke locatie te gebruiken om de kunstwerken te doorzoeken. De kunstwerken worden gesorteerd op afstand tot uw locatie. Vervolgens kunt u filteren op kunstenaar, locatie en periode. U kunt favorieten aanmaken om later eenvoudig terug te kijken en U kunt kunstwerken delen via social media.

Gemeente Utrecht The "Pictures in the city of Utrecht 'app shows all works that are part of the public art collection of the city of Utrecht. The works are located both in the public space as a (former) municipal buildings. The app provides background information on the artworks, which then can be saved and shared. The app has a simple premise: more visible and discoverable to create works of art in the city of Utrecht.

With the app you can set out to discover whether art can be a work of art, when you look up this artwork in town come-easy information. For this, the app has a unique feature that provides location information from your position and works nearby. There is a possibility to make from your location to every artwork a route.

The app can be used to search. Artwork from any location The artworks are sorted by distance from your location. Then you can filter by artist, location and period. You can create favorites for later easy to look back and you can share artwork via social media.

The app has appeared in the publication "Images in Utrecht '(2014), published by Cultural Affairs, City of Utrecht.
