About IPSS
IPSS is een app om snel en gemakkelijk een gestandaardiseerde International Prostate Symptom Score vragenlijst (IPSS) in te vullen. Deze gevalideerde vragenlijst wordt door zorgprofessionals gebruikt om een duidelijke en eenduidig beeld te krijgen van de ernst van uw eventuele prostaatklachten.
Na het beantwoorden van 8 vragen rekent de app automatisch de bijbehorende IPSS-score (inclusief de I- en O-component daarvan). Indien gewenst kan de app deze uitslag bewaren en over de tijd het verloop van vaker ingevulde lijsten inzichtelijk maken.
Naast de IPSS-score kunt u bijhouden over welke periode u bepaalde medicijnen gebruikt en andere relevante gebeurtenissen (afspraken met de arts, operaties e.d.). Als deze informatie wordt in een overzichtelijk dagboek getoond en is ook als rapport te bekijken en te versturen per email.
De app kan worden gebruikt door patiënten thuis (vaak over een langere periode en herhaald ingevuld), maar is ook eenvoudig om te zetten naar een instrument om in een ziekenhuis of praktijk eenmalig de actuele IPSS-score van een bepaalde patiënt te verkrijgen.
