Bosch Parade

Sinds 2010 worden de Bossche wateren in juni bevaren door Bosch Parade: een wonderlijke armada met drijvende, peddelende en wadende objecten, geïnspireerd op het werk en gedachtegoed van de Bossche middeleeuwse schilder Jheronimus Bosch. Voor Bosch Parade werken kunstenaars uit alle disciplines (beeldende kunst, theater, dans, muziek, architectuur) samen met groepen enthousiaste amateurs en vrijwilligers aan ongemotoriseerde en akoestische kunstwerken. Zo ontstaat niet alleen een kleurrijke varende ‘parade van het ongerijmde’, maar ook een wijdvertakt netwerk van creativiteit in de stad, van, voor en met betrokken Bosschenaren.

Since 2010 Bossche sail the waters in June by Bosch Parade: a wondrous armada floating, paddling and wading objects, inspired by the work and ideas of the Bossche medieval painter Hieronymus Bosch. Bosch Parade artists working in all disciplines (visual arts, theater, dance, music, architecture) with groups of enthusiastic amateurs and volunteers of non-motorized and acoustic art. This not only creates a colorful sailing 'parade of the absurd, but also an extensive network of creativity in the city, by, for and with Hertogenbosch involved.
