This is a demo app made for my "Embracing Fragmentation" talk, showing how to use resources to create an app that runs on a multitude of devices.
The app shows the actual screen size of your device in both pixels and device independent pixels (dips). It also shows the size of the view, the type of screen (small, normal, large, xlarge) and the screen dpi class (ldpi, mdpi, hdpi, xhdpi).
The code for this app is open source and available from the website link.

This just displays the screen shown in the screenshots, specific to your device. This is super handy for ROOT users that construct their own themes or theme friends' devices. I've had a couple friends grab this app and just tell me what it says, for a device I'm unfamiliar with. There is no configuration or even a menu button response, nor is there even an instant of lag. The only thing I could ask for would be the device name space included for screenshots and the above use.

If you could add "long/notlong" too that'd be great, one other app does this but seems to report notlong for long tablets incorrectly..
