Alpen App - Alpenbloemen van de bergen in Europa

De AlpenApp is een interactieve app met bijna 400 alpenbloemen en 1000 prachtige foto's uit de Hoge Alpen van Oostenrijk, Zwitserland en Frankrijk.

Zoek op familie, Nederlandse en wetenschappelijke naam of geniet van de professionele natuurfotografie van Wil Leurs en Alpenbotanist Franck le Driant.

In de app is speciaal veel aandacht voor gentianen, sleutelbloemen en rotsplanten van grotere hoogtes (tot wel 4200 meter). Om de app niet te groot te maken zijn er geen bomen en struiken opgenomen.

Kids versie
De Alpenapp heeft een kids versie. Via instellingen kun je voor deze versie kiezen. De app laat dan alleen de Nederlandse namen zien. Dat is makkelijker dan de Nederlandse en de wetenschappelijke namen tegelijk.

Het verhaal achter de Alpenapp
Uniek aan deze app is dat de basis is gelegd met 800 foto's van alpenliefhebbers uit Nederland en België. Deze foto's van wandelaars en klimmers zijn gebruikt om een eerste selectie te maken van planten die opvallen. Enkele van deze foto's zijn zelfs opgenomen in de Alpenapp! De uiteindelijke selectie voor de Alpenapp is tot stand gekomen met specialisten van de botanische tuin in Haren en de Jardin D'altitude. The app is special attention to gentians, primroses and rock plants from higher altitudes (up to 4200 meters). For the app does not make too big, there are no trees and bushes included.

The Alpenapp has a kids version. Through settings, you can opt for this version. The app let alone see the Dutch names. That's easier than the Dutch and the scientific names at once.

The story behind the Alpenapp
Unique to this app is that the foundation is laid with 800 photographs of alpine enthusiasts from the Netherlands and Belgium. These photos of hikers and climbers are used to make an initial selection of plants that stand out. Some of these photos are even included in the Alpenapp! The final selection for the Alpenapp was developed with specialists from the botanical garden in Haren and the Jardin d'altitude.
