We bussen

We bussen speelt zich af in de regio Eindhoven, Den Bosch en Breda. In de spits zijn er verschillende
knelpunten. Deze regio’s zijn met de bus uitstekend bereikbaar. Daarom richt We bussen zich hier op
deze specifieke gebieden en op automobilisten.

Je kunt meedoen met We bussen als je regelmatig in de ochtend- of avondspits in of om Eindhoven
rijdt, met name naar Brainport of Eindhoven Airport. In Den Bosch richt We bussen zich op
automobilisten die van of naar De Herven, Pettelaarpark en De Brand rijden. Maar ook mensen die in
de avond graag uitgaan in het centrum van Den Bosch komen in aanmerking. In Breda is We bussen
gericht op het drukke gebied aan de oostkant van Breda, rond de Claudius Prinsenlaan.

Om mee te kunnen doen heb je een e-mailadres en smartphone nodig en installeer je de app. Direct na je
aanmelding ontvang je een e-mail bericht met een inlog waarmee je de app in gebruik kunt nemen.
Met de app kun je vervolgens in de bus op jouw traject instappen door aan de buschauffeur met je
smartphone te laten zien dat je gebruik maakt van een gratis rit. Er wordt automatisch voor je
bijgehouden hoeveel ritten je nog tegoed hebt.

Om de gemaakte gratis busrit correct te kunnen verwerken, maken we gebruik van jouw GPS-posities.
De We bussen app heeft daarbij eenzelfde accuverbruik als bestaande navigatie- en GPS-applicaties.
De privacy is vanzelfsprekend goed geregeld en nemen we heel serieus: We bussen is aangemeld bij
het CBP.

We bussen maakt onderdeel uit van het programma Beter Benutten en is een initiatief van de
Provincie Noord-Brabant, het Ministerie van Infrastructuur & Milieu en de OV-bedrijven Arriva en
Hermes, in samenwerking met de gemeenten Breda, ’s-Hertogenbosch en Eindhoven. We buses takes place in the region of Eindhoven, Den Bosch and Breda. In the rush hour, there are several
