Extrapool Sounds

Met deze app maak je een wandeling met locatiespecifieke sounds door het centrum van Nijmegen. Wanneer je de app download en je koptelefoon
opzet, kun je je eigen compositie maken, die afhankelijk van je loop­route elke keer anders is!

De audio is gecomponeerd door Ralf Gerritse, Dotlights en Strapatsen, uit de stal van Nieuwe Electronische Waar. Zij leveren de bouwstenen voor jouw eigen soundtrack van de stad.

De app is ontworpen en ont­wikkeld door Klasien van de Zandschulp, James Bryan Graves, Arjan Scherpenisse.

Op zaterdag 23 augustus organiseert Extrapool samen met Nieuwe Electronische Waar een avond in het teken van de lancering van de app. De producers die een bijdrage hebben geleverd aan de app spelen een live set.

Oddstream Festival
De Extrapool Augmented Sounds app is opgenomen in het programma van Oddstream, het festival dat zich focust op kunst, design en technologie. Odd­stream vindt plaats van 15 tot en met 24 augustus in de Lindenberg. With this app you take a walk with location-specific sounds through the center of Nijmegen. When you download the app and your headphones
setup, you can create your own composition, which depending on your route is different every time!

The audio is composed by Ralf Gerritse Dotlights and shenanigans, from the stable of New Electronic True. They provide the building blocks for your own soundtrack of the city.

The app is designed and developed by Klasien the Zandschulp, James Bryan Graves, Arjan Scherpenisse.

On Saturday, August 23 Extrapool organizes with New Electronic Where an evening dedicated to the launch of the app. The producers who have contributed to the app to play a live set.
