De app ‘GGDreistmee‘ is de officiële app van GGDReisvaccinaties.nl
Het is een gratis app en beschikbaar voor zowel iOS als Android. De app maakt gebruik van GPS en kan ook offline gebruikt worden. De app is bedoeld voor reizigers naar (sub)tropische bestemmingen.
Pagina’s uit de app worden automatisch geupdate, zodra er een internetverbinding is.

Mogelijkheden van de app ‘GGD reist mee’:
• Stel je eigen reis samen. Ga naar informatie per land, kies een land en gebruik de wereldbolletjes om belangrijke informatie op te slaan.
• De app maakt gebruikt van GPS. Dit betekent dat GGDReisvaccinaties berichten kan sturen als er in een land ergens voor wordt gewaarschuwd. Dat bericht ontvangt de reiziger alleen als hij/zij daadwerkelijk in dat land is. Dat kan een bericht zijn over een nieuwe epidemie, zoals zikavirus of ebola, maar ook politieke onrust of een negatief reisadvies.
• Er worden reistips beschreven. Denk aan ‘Hoe voorkom ik dat ik wordt gestoken door een mug? ‘of ‘Hoe voorkom ik hoogteziekte’.
• In het onderdeel: ‘Wat te doen bij’….beantwoorden we vragen zoals: ‘Wat te doen bij een honden- of apenbeet?’
• De meest relevante (tropische) ziekten en vaccinaties staan erin.
• In de landenzoeker kan men op de landkaart of in de landenlijst vinden welke vaccinaties nodig zijn per land.
• Bij ‘Handige links’ staan websites en apps die voor de reiziger naar de (sub)tropen relevant zijn.
• Via sociale media of website kan men in contact komen met het webcareteam. Het team beantwoordt vragen van reizigers in het buitenland of wijst ze de weg.
• Reizigers kunnen via de app ook online een afspraak maken bij een GGD in Nederland
