LOCAL for Android
LOCAL has arisen when we realised how communities had changed in the past decade. Despite the fact that social media has connected us more and more, our community has been individualised. An absolute shame, since we can achieve so much more when we work together. A community that works together, makes living not only more pleasant, it also improves safety, saves money and local issues can be resolved much easier.
The LOCAL App makes you stay close to each other in your community. Everyone in your community can join and discuss, talk about issues, share things and work together if needed.
We need more people to join in. I can't find people in my community who actually are from my area. A major marketing move is required, since it is all about local people - you need to have people using it.
The concept is definitely a winner. There have been local marketplaces, but I think for all housing societies, this might be perfect. There are a hundred small issues to deal with daily, everyone just use this. More aggressive chat features should be added.
Since it is all about getting people together, the App should be supported on all platforms. I can't find the iOS version although the website says it is available.
In a community, this App is good for helping make swifter decisions. We have a housing complex and I am wanting everyone to get this so we can all just talk here and make things work.
I am just having a hard time to get everyone to join in. I don't have many people using this App right now which is a problem. The App looks terrific though with local marketplace offerings that seems extremely useful to me.
The marketplace is a really good idea - people locally offering services that we may need. Local marketplace is just way more trustworthy.
The App design and interface is really good. Highly useful App - although I will have to spread the word around my community for people to use this.
Engaging locally in a community sounds like a brilliant idea. The marketplace is a nice concept - so if I need a babysitter or a dog walker from my local area - that's just too good.
This works perfectly, nice design, great implementation & execution. Makes collaborating with people locally a breeze. More specific options to join a community should be offered. QR code is the best way. Location should be the priority when deciding who can join.
