This app helps you to learn the vessel lights as prescribed by the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea.
Learning in this app takes three stages. In the first stage "Study", the vessels can be browsed, and each vessel shows its lights from the side as well as from the top. A unique feature is that the vessel can be rotated by swiping, so that it can be viewed from all angles. In the second stage "Practice", random vessels are presented from a random angle, and in side view. Make a choice out of four answers. It is possible to cheat in various way: asking for the correct answer, rotating the vessel, going back to other vessels. The final stage is the "Examination". There is no cheating here. Random vessels from a random angle. Case after case. The timer is running. When the examination is finished, you are rewarded with a report. And, another unique feature, you can review your answers.
The app has some customization features such as choosing the amount of questions in the examination, whether to beep on correct/wrong answers, and the language.
Of course you can share your examination results with your friends.
This app requires no permissions.

Decent App. However, suggestion to include sound signals. Another step further would be to include IALA bouyage system. App would also be made complete if situations and actions taken could be added. Just my two cents. We live in an age where the sky is the limit. Good job developer

Great small app that can be put on sd card to save memory space. It is very accurate and up-to-date with the information. Has No Adverts No Bloatware No Nag Screens No Pop-ups. All round amazing application for Android this is a perfect example of how application's should be made. So huge thanks to the creator I shall highly recommend this product :-)

The masthead light is seen from right ahead to 2 points abaft the beam on BOTH sides of the vessel. Not when just one side light is seen as when end on both side lights and masthead light (s) are visible.

Works well, no ads or unnecessary permissions. Please add hovercraft, WIG craft, dredging, etc, as not all lights are covered. Would also be nice to have a way of displaying the relevant Colregs text - perhaps a different section in the app? Would be perfect if shapes and sounds were included!

The only real issue is that the buttons are too close on a phone. I sometimes fat-finger the wrong answer when I am taking a test.
